S24 Ultra experiences pixel flickering and a white screen when the display turns on

Hi Guys,

I noticed flickering between the clock and front facing camera on the lock screen when the screen turns on, and I also get a bright white screen. The service guy mentioned this happens because the light detection sensor is functioning.

Is this normal, or did he mislead me about having a defective unit?
