sorry if this is a dumb question but I have no idea where to start. my aunt in Chicago is buying my birthday stuff next week since im totally broke but I dont know how to show her what I picked.

Ive been using Amazon UK for years and usually just build a wishlist when I need to group stuff together but right now Im trying to get a bunch of hardware for a garden shed project im doing this weekend. I have about 12 different hinges and specific screws in my cart and I really need my brother to check the specs before I hit checkout.

I thought there would be a simple share button by now but I cant find anything in the account settings or the app. Is there a way to actually send a live link of the cart contents or do I have to mess around with some third party chrome extension? Im trying to avoid manually copying every single ASIN into a text...

I am in a massive rush because my friends and I are supposed to be leaving for a camping trip in the Catskills this Friday and we still havent bought half the gear we need. I have a budget of about $500 to get everything but I am the one doing the shopping and I'm honestly so lost. I have a ton of stuff in my Amazon cart right now like:

a 4 person tent

some portable stove thing

sleeping pads

water filters

and I really need my friends to look at the list before I hit buy so I dont waste our money on junk. I tried copying and pasting every single link into our group chat but it is a total mess and everyone is getting annoyed with the notifications. Someone told me there are these browser extension things that let you just send a link to the whole cart but I have no idea how those work or which one to get. I am really sorry if this is a stupid question but I am not good with computers at all and I'm scared of downloading something that will break my laptop or steal my credit card info. Ive been using Amazon for years and usually I just send links or screenshots but I'm stuck right now trying to coordinate a big tech buy for our team in Toronto. My manager needs to approve the whole cart and pay for it by tonight so he can get the tax write-off for this month. Wishlists are a total pain because they dont handle the specific quantities I need correctly and it takes way too long to add everything manually.

Im trying to prep for a camping trip in the Cascades this weekend and have like $300 of gear in my cart right now but I really want my roommate to check it over before I hit buy.

I saw stuff about Amazon Household but that feels like overkill for a one-time thing and those 3rd party extensions seem kinda sketchy. Is there a way to actually share the whole cart directly so he can see everything at once, maybe through a link or a shared list, or am I stuck sending like ten individual product links for him to open one by one?

So I've been using CamelCamelCamel for like years now to track random stuff but honestly the site feels so clunky and slow lately like it belongs in 2008 or something. I'm planning a pretty big PC build for late November so I really need to stay on top of prices for a specific 1440p monitor and some SSDs. My logic was to just stick with what I know but I keep hearing people talk about Keepa being way more detailed.

The problem is I looked at Keepa and it seems like they want you to pay a subscription for the really good data and I'm strictly on a zero dollar budget for tools because every penny is going toward the hardware. Then there is Honey which is super easy to use but I'm not sure if it actually tracks the long term price history as well as the others do or if its just for coupons.

I'm kinda torn between a few things:

sticking with CamelCamelCamel even though the UI is a mess

trying Keepa free version if its actually better than CCC

seeing if Honey is actually legit for price drops

I really dont want to miss a flash sale because I was using a tool that updates too slowly. Is there anything else out there that I'm missing that doesnt cost a monthly fee or should I just suck it up and use the camel site...

Ive been building my own homelab setup for a few years now and usually Im pretty good at snagging parts when they drop but lately everything has gone sideways. I used to just rely on some basic Chrome extensions or maybe a simple python script with BeautifulSoup to scrape pages for in stock text but these retail sites have gotten so much more aggressive with their bot detection and dynamic rendering. Its like every time I find a good price on a specific rack-mount chassis or even some Noctua fans here in the UK, the page layout changes or they throw up a cloudflare wall that my old scripts just cant handle anymore.

I really need to find a more robust way to manage these alerts across like ten different shops without having forty tabs open constantly draining my RAM. Planning this big camping trip to Algonquin with five friends next month and trying to coordinate all the gear we need without buying doubles. I was looking at the Share-A-Cart extension because it seems simple but then I saw some people just use a shared Wishlist or something called Cart-Share.

Honestly wishlists are a pain because you have to move everything over manually and it doesnt always update the quantities right.
