Honestly I am so fed up with how difficult Amazon makes it to do basic stuff like collaborating on a purchase. My sister and I are trying to put together this massive nursery setup for our best friend's baby shower and we have a budget of exactly $600 to get everything done before the party in three weeks. We are doing this whole woodland forest theme and I have spent hours finding the right curtains, those specific 3M hooks that wont ruin the paint, and a very particular brand of organic swaddles.

I have about 30 items sitting in my cart right now and I am literally pulling my hair out because there is no share button. I have tried a few things already:

making a generic wish list

sending individual links via text

taking screenshots of my desktop screen

But none of that works because it doesnt save the specific quantities I need or the specific color options I selected for the storage bins. Plus half the time the prices look different on her end when she looks at a list vs what I see in my cart with my Prime discounts. I am currently just taking a million screenshots on my phone and texting them to her but then she has to go and search for every individual item herself and it's taking forever.

Its just so frustrating because I feel like this should be a standard feature by now. We're on a tight timeline because I have to drive all this stuff down to Austin by the end of the month and if we miss the shipping window because we're busy playing find the link in our text thread, I'm gonna lose it. I even looked into those Amazon Household things but that seems like way too much work just to share a one-time shopping trip. Does anyone know if there is any actual way to just send a direct link to my live cart to someone else so they can see exactly what I've picked out?

so I finally landed this dream remote gig and I am beyond excited to get my home office setup ready here in my Seattle apartment but oh my god looking at the prices of things like Herman Miller or Steelcase is actually giving me a heart attack. my budget is strictly $800 for everything because I already spent way too much on my PC build and I need to have this done by next Monday.

I spent all night yesterday looking for alternatives and my logic was that maybe I can find some hidden gems that arent marketed to death. I saw some people swear by the Autonomous ErgoChair but then I read a bunch of reviews saying the mesh gets super loose after six months and the customer service is a nightmare which totally scared me off. then I looked at the IKEA Karlby and Alex drawer combo which looks cool but I really want a standing desk and those conversion kits on Amazon like the Flexispot ones seem okay but I am worried about them wobbling or the motor burning out when I have my heavy dual monitor mount on there.

standing desk frames under $300

chairs that wont kill my back after 8 hours

monitor arms that actually stay put

I am just torn because I dont want to buy cheap junk that I have to replace in a year but I definitely cant afford the $1500 designer stuff right now. are there any specific off-brands that are actually legit or should I just look for used warehouse stuff?

We have like 12 people chipping in for camping gear on Amazon.de and I cant find a way to just send them the whole cart so they can see what I picked. I looked at Share-A-Cart but people say it glitches on the German site and misses items. Then I saw CartURL but it looks so old and sketchy and we are spending like 400 euros total so I’m nervous about security.

Is there anything actually reliable that works with the .de domain? I just need to send a link to the group chat so we can finalize this tonight...

I'm trying to get my home office setup ready for this new remote gig I start on the 15th and honestly the stress is getting to me. I've got my eye on this specific Dexley chair and a Realspace desk at Office Depot but the prices are literally changing every single day it seems like. I only have about 450 bucks left in the budget for furniture so I really need to catch a sale or a price drop before my start date. I've been looking at a few extensions because I'm tired of refreshing the page every hour.

I've got Honey installed but I dont know if their price tracking is actually reliable for Office Depot specifically or if it just does coupons. Then I saw Capital One Shopping but I'm worried about the privacy stuff and if it actually alerts you fast enough. I also heard about this one called Glass It but I've never used it before and it looks a bit more technical.

I'm really torn because I need something that wont miss a flash sale since my timeline is so tight. Which one of these is actually gonna give me the most accurate alerts for Office Depot prices? I dont want to miss out and end up sitting on a kitchen chair for eight hours a day...

ive been looking at this ninja creami thing for ages now because my kids keep asking for homemade ice cream but honestly it feels so expensive for a kitchen gadget and im really bad at figuring out when things are actually worth the price. im in ohio and money is a bit tight right now especially with a big car repair coming up next month so im trying to be really careful where I spend my extra cash. i have about $160 set aside for this and i was told to wait for prime day in july because apparently everything goes on sale then and that sounds like the perfect time to grab one.

the thing is i keep reading these posts online from people saying that amazon isnt actually giving you a deal most of the time. they say the prices get bumped up like a week or two before the sale starts so when the 'prime deal' hits it looks like you're saving fifty bucks but really you're just paying the normal price from like a month ago. i have no idea how people even know that or how to check it for myself? i feel like a complete dummy asking this but i dont want to get tricked into thinking im getting a bargain if im really just paying full price. like do they actually lower the price below what it normally is throughout the year or is it all just fancy marketing stuff to make people panic buy things they dont need?

i saw this one blender i wanted too and it said it was 'on sale' for $89 but then i went to the local target down the street and it was literally $85 without any sale tags at all so now im super suspicious of everything on the site. im just a total newbie at this whole online shopping game and usually i just buy things when i need them but since this is a bigger purchase for me i wanted to be smart about it. is there a trick to knowing if the prime day price is actually the lowest it has ever been or if it's just inflated...

I am literally losing my mind trying to time these purchases right because I just moved into my first place in Columbus and my sisters wedding is coming up in October so I have to buy like a million things at once and my budget is strictly under 300 dollars for everything which feels impossible right now. Kohls is usually my go-to because of the coupons but their pricing is so erratic like its 80 dollars one day and 45 the next but then you have to factor in the Kohls Cash and the 15% or 30% off codes so I was thinking there has to be a better way to track this stuff than just refreshing the page every morning at 6am.

I did some digging and saw people talking about Honey but it feels like thats mostly just for finding promo codes at checkout which is fine but I want to know when the actual base price drops so I can stack the coupons on top of a low price if that makes sense? My logic was that if I can catch the item at its lowest sticker price then use a 30% off code Id be golden but then I read about Karma - it used to be Shoptagr I think - and some people on reddit were saying it doesnt always update fast enough for Kohls flash sales or those one-day doorbusters. Im just so anxious about overpaying and then seeing it cheaper two days later especially since Im on such a tight timeline for the wedding gifts and kitting out my kitchen.

Is there anything specifically built for Kohls or at least something that handles their weird pricing tiers better? I even looked at CamelCamelCamel but obviously thats just for Amazon so its useless here and I tried setting up Google Shopping alerts but they seem to lag by like a whole day sometimes. I just need something reliable that wont miss the window because once the Kohls Cash period ends the deal usually isnt even that good anymore...

Is there a reliable way to get instant alerts for Sephora price drops that actually works because im losing my mind here? I've been using browser extensions like Honey and Karma for years to track my favorites but lately they've been totally useless with Sephora specifically. I had my eye on the Dyson Airwrap and some Tom Ford scents for my sisters wedding next month in Chicago and I checked the "notify me" settings on the app but it never pings me until stuff is already sold out.

I even tried setting up a custom script using a web scraper I found on GitHub but the site keeps blocking my requests or the CSS selectors changed and now everything is broken. Its like Sephora has some weird anti-bot thing that messes with price trackers lately? Ive tried:

setting up Google Alerts (too slow)

the official app notifications (useless)

checking reddit subreddits daily

Honestly its so annoying because I see people on TikTok getting these insane deals and I'm just sitting here refreshing the page like a loser. I have a strict $500 budget for this haul and if I miss the next VIB sale or a random flash drop I'm gonna have to pay full price which is basically robbery. I tried camelcamelcamel for other stuff but they dont do Sephora obviously and the built-in wishlist notifications are a total joke. What are you guys using that actually hits your phone the second a price changes...
