So I just blew a ton of money on this titanium 15 Pro and I am honestly so stressed about keeping it in one piece but I also need it to actually be useful for this trip im taking to London next week for a wedding. I basically have $150 left in my tech budget and I cant decide what to prioritize for MagSafe stuff.
Im looking at the Apple MagSafe Battery Pack because I heard the integration is better but then the Anker 622 is way cheaper and has that kickstand which would be great for the long flight... but I worry the Anker might get too hot or not charge as fast? Then for wallets I am completely torn between the ESR one with the built in Find My and the official Apple one. The ESR seems bulky but I lose my wallet literally every day so the tracking is kind of a lifesaver for me personally. But the Apple one is way slimmer and looks better with the phone even if it only holds like 3 cards.
I need to order this by tomorrow so it gets here before my flight on Friday. Is the Anker and ESR combo going to be way too bulky for a trip where im gonna be walking like 10 miles a day? Or should I just go for the official battery and hope I dont lose my cards?...
Totally agree with skipping the official apple battery pack. Over the years, I've tried many and the Anker 622 Magnetic Battery MagGo 5000mAh is just way more practical for travel. That kickstand is gold on long flights. Since you lose stuff constantly, definitely grab the ESR Magnetic Wallet with Geo Integration. Its a bit chunky, but having Find My built in is a lifesaver when youre navigating London.
> This is exactly what I needed to hear. Youre a lifesaver honestly. Unfortunately I had some scary overheating issues with cheaper packs. My 15 Pro actually throttled its charging speed to 2.5W because the thermals were so bad. I moved to the Belkin BoostCharge Magnetic Wireless Power Bank 5K for better safety and reliability. Also, the Moft Snap-on Phone Stand and Wallet is way thinner than the ESR... walking miles with a heavy brick in your pocket is honestly miserable.
