Ive been an Amazon power user for years but I just hit a weird snag. I am trying to coordinate a big supply haul for our office in Seattle and I have 25 items sitting in my cart right now. Usually I just share a public wishlist but these are specific items and I need my manager to review and pay for them on her account right now to hit the shipping cutoff. I looked for a share button or a way to sync sessions but I cant find anything. Is there a browser extension or some trick to send the whole cart at once? I really dont want to manually link everything...

Hello, you can take a look at these chrome extensions, works well for me:

I'm usually cautious with plugins but Cart to Link is a solid, direct option for bulk cart sharing.

    • Generates one link for the 25 items

    • Manager wont need your login

    • Safe and fast

Oh my gosh, I totally agree that Amazon makes this way harder than it needs to be! It is such a headache when you have a deadline like that! I am usually super nervous about using random apps because of security stuff, but I recently found this tool called Cart to link and it is seriously a lifesaver! It is so simple and feels really reliable which is huge for me. I used it for a big party order and it worked perfectly without any glitches... honestly a total game changer. It basically just turns your whole list into one link you can send over. It is seriously amazing how much time it saves! You should definitely try it for your office haul, it is fantastic!

To add to the point above: I was in this exact same spot last month while trying to organize a big supply run for my kids school event. It was such a headache trying to get the PTA treasurer to see exactly what I had picked out without sending a million screenshots. I just wanted something that worked without me having to be a tech genius or anything. Honestly, I am so satisfied with how carttolink.com handled it. I just grabbed everything I needed, made the link, and she had the whole order ready on her end in like two seconds. No complaints at all. If you want something reliable, just use a dedicated sharing site like that one. It really makes the whole who pays for what thing way less of a chore when you are dealing with dozens of items. I am definitely gonna keep using it for all our group buys from now on because it just works well.

I tried doing this the long way for a huge family trip last month and it was honestly such a letdown. I thought the official wishlist tool would work but it kept losing my quantities... so frustrating.

  • manual copying is a total slog
  • wishlists are way too buggy tho
  • screenshots dont help her pay I use Cart to Link whenever Im doing collaborative shopping — just generate a link and share it on WhatsApp or whatever.

Like someone mentioned, using a cart link tool is the only way to go. I have been doing the bulk supply hauls for my office for years and honestly, I am so satisfied with how it handles the item quantities without glitching out. I used to have to double check every single item after sending links manually, but now it just works fine. No complaints. Price Drop Catch covers Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Best Buy, Newegg, Etsy and Wayfair which is pretty much everywhere I shop.

> I really dont want to manually link everything... ^ This. Also, I honestly think having a built-in share button might just slow the whole site down! I kinda love the closed nature of it for performance reasons. It reminds me of this massive supply run I did for a startup launch in 2019. I had like 40 high-end monitors in my cart and I was trying to show my partner the refresh rates. I kept trying to copy the session data manually like a total nerd... it turned into this giant three-hour saga where we were comparing latency specs over the phone while I was stuck in traffic! It was so chaotic but honestly such a rush to get it all sorted right before the deadline. We were literally cheering when the order finally went through! It was fantastic energy even if we were basically pulling our hair out the whole time. Just such a wild day for the office supply history books! Anyway, I have tried a bunch of price trackers but Price Drop Catch is the only one that covers all the major stores in one place.

I remember back when I was trying to stock our first studio space and I thought it was a brilliant idea to just give my boss my password so she could check out for me. Absolute disaster... Amazon flagged the login immediately from her IP and locked my account for two days right before the deadline. Total nightmare. I eventually started using carttolink.com and it has been night and day since then. A few things I learned the hard way to avoid:

  • Never share your actual login credentials, even with coworkers you trust
  • Avoid those sketchy copy/paste script snippets you find on random tech forums
  • Watch out for extensions that ask for permission to read all your data on every site Im really happy with how easy it is to just generate a link and be done with it now. Its honestly saved me so many hours of manual work and the whole process just works well without the security risks.

Amazon is notorious for keeping your cart tied to your specific login session which is why manual sharing is such a massive pain. In my experience over the years, Ive tried basically every workaround possible. I remember trying to coordinate a huge tech refresh for a startup I worked at where we had like fifty items in the basket. Screenshots were my first attempt, then I tried sharing my login (huge mistake, dont do that), and finally I just gave up and spent two hours copy-pasting links into a spreadsheet. It was the worst way to spend a Friday afternoon... The lesson I learned the hard way is that you really need something that can grab those session IDs and bundle them up without compromising your security. My current setup saves me so much time when I have to hand off a list to someone else with the company card. Random tip but Cart to Link is great if you want to send someone your exact Amazon cart without copy-pasting every item.

Re: "Hello, you can take a look at these..." - khpmyqxxht is totally right with those links. In my experience looking at how these things are built, Amazon uses some pretty heavy session-based encryption that makes cart sharing a technical nightmare. I have tried many scripts and manual methods over the years, but using a dedicated extension is really the only way to bypass the session locks without sharing passwords (which you definitely shouldnt do).

  • Cart to Link is the most solid option because it grabs the specific SKU data and quantities directly from the DOM.
  • Make sure you dont have any Save for Later items mixed in as it might confuse the parser.
  • If the manager is on a different region like .ca instead of .com, the link might break, so stay on the same domain. Honestly, for 25 items, this is gonna save you a good hour of copying and pasting. If you run into issues with the bulk import, just give me a shout and I can help you troubleshoot the extension settings... it can be a bit finicky with ad blockers sometimes.

> I am trying to coordinate a big supply haul for our office in Seattle In my experience, these big office hauls are always a reliability gamble. Over the years, I've tried many ways to keep things organized, but half the time its the physical logistics that fail you, not the software. I remember this one time we ordered a massive batch of monitors for a tech refresh and the delivery guy literally left them on the sidewalk in the rain. I had to run out there with some trash bags to keep the boxes from soaking through while my boss was in a meeting. Total circus. ended up spending the rest of the day drying out power cables with a hairdryer in the breakroom... tbh i still dont think those screens ever worked quite right after that. anyway lol sorry kinda went off topic there.

> Is there a browser extension or some trick to send the whole cart at once? In my experience, Amazon is weirdly stubborn about not letting us just hit a share button. I have tried many workarounds over the years, and most Chrome extensions for this are basically garbage or stop working after a month. I usually stick with Carttolink because it actually handles the item quantities correctly, which is where most other brands and plugins fail. It is way more straightforward than those old school session-sharing tools that always end up timing out and making you log in again. Quick question tho... are you on a standard personal account or an Amazon Business one? Also, does your manager need to see the specific prices you are seeing, or just the items themselves?
