I just upgraded to an iPhone 15 Pro and want to finally switch to a full MagSafe setup. I'm looking for a reliable desk charger that supports Qi2 speeds and a compact power bank that won't overheat in my pocket. Are there specific brands you'd recommend for keeping the phone cool while charging fast?

Qi2 tech basically runs cooler than old stuff. In my experience, these are best for ur money: - Anker MagGo Wireless Charger (Stand)
- Anker MagGo Power Bank (6.6K) Think that works??

Ok so, for your situation, I've been looking into this cuz my 15 Pro gets so hot during charging. I recommend the ESR Qi2 MagSafe Charger Stand with CryoBoost for ur desk because it has an actual fan. It keeps the phone chilled so it doesnt throttle speeds like the Belkin BoostCharge Pro 2-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Pad with Qi2 sometimes does... and the Belkin is way too expensive anyway. For a power bank, i'd suggest the UGREEN Nexode Power Bank 10000mAh Magnetic over thinner models. I had issues with slim packs getting way too hot in my pocket, but the Ugreen manages heat much better imo. If ur on a budget, the Baseus Magnetic Mini Power Bank 10000mAh 20W is alright, tho not as good as expected for long-term use. Basically, go with ESR for the desk!! peace.

Honestly, "value" means different things to everyone lol. If you want cool and reliable for less, Belkin BoostCharge Pro Convertible Magnetic Charging Stand with Qi2 is a solid deal. I've also heard the Spigen ArcHybrid Mag (MagFit) 5000mAh Magnetic Battery Pack stays pretty chill. Just dont wanna suggest stuff that’s wayyy over budget!

In my experience, comparing the engineering of the big brands against those budget mystery labels really highlights the risks you take. I remember when my cousin tried to do a side-by-side test between his premium gear and some bargain bin find and it turned into a whole ordeal.

  • His phone screen started flickering like a strobe light
  • The charging cable actually started smoking within ten minutes
  • We ended up spending the whole afternoon at the repair shop instead of the beach It was a complete mess and watching him deal with the warranty department after that was even worse than the hardware failure. I have tried many setups over the years and the difference in how they handle heat is usually pretty staggering tho.
