I’ve just upgraded to the iPhone 16 and want to push its new 48MP camera to the limit! I'm particularly interested in gear that works well with the new Camera Control button. Does anyone have recommendations for portable gimbals or MagSafe filters that don't block the sensors? What are your must-have accessories for high-end mobile photography?

Ok so, jumping in here...
> What are your must-have accessories for high-end mobile photography? Here's what I recommend: honestly, i've wasted cash on "pro" gear that's actually just junk. unfortunately, most mounts block that new button. Hohem iSteady M6 Kit Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer is sturdy but bulky vs NEEWER 52mm Magnetic Filter Ring Adapter for iPhone which is cheaper, though not as good as expected if you're rough. personally, the Neewer is better value... just dont expect $500 quality. gl!

sooo TL;DR: its true 48MP sensors show every shake. I compared DJI Osmo Mobile 6 vs Insta360 Flow Smartphone Stabilizer. DJI helped my journey more cuz the controls felt better tbh.

Honestly, I’ve been sooo nervous about picking the wrong gear because I’m terrified of dropping my new phone or scratching the lenses. I spent way too long doing market research on the "premium" brands versus the cheaper ones you see all over social media, and it's actually kinda confusing for a beginner like me. From what I’ve gathered during my journey:
* The big-name brands definitely seem to have updated their designs for that new button much faster than the budget ones.
* I found that some "compatible" gear I looked at basically blocked the sensors, which was a total waste of time.
* The more expensive ecosystems feel way more secure, which matters to me since I'm pretty clumsy tbh. I ended up going with a slightly more expensive setup just for the peace of mind, even if it hurt my wallet a bit. Idk, has anyone else noticed that the cheaper brands are lagging behind with the button cutouts? I basically just want my phone to feel safe while I'm out taking photos!

Just sharing my experience: I’m obsessed with gear safety. I found:
* **Peak Design** mounts
* **ShiftCam** grips
Both feel super SECURE and don't block ur button tho!
