I totally agree that the build quality makes everything feel more premium and reliable, like was mentioned earlier. Honestly though, for an actual car mount, you need something that handles the weight and vibration of the iPhone 11 without rattling. I have tried a bunch and most cheap ones fail the heat test during summer.

• Consider a custom base like the ProClip Center Mount because it snaps into the dash seams
• If you go suction, make sure it has a sticky gel pad for better vacuum sealing I have been using the iOttie Easy One Touch 5 for over a year now and it is basically the gold standard for suction mounts.
