Just catching up on the thread and i definitely agree with vertvpgrft about the fit being the most critical factor. From my own experience, compatibility is where most people run into trouble with the 12 mini because everything is so scaled down. I usually look at two specific things when testing a new setup:

• The clearance around the charging port for third party cables
• How much the edge of the case overlaps with a glass screen protector Its kinda frustrating when a case looks good but ends up peeling back your glass or blocking your charger. Its basically about finding that balance... just something to keep in mind while you are shopping around.

For iPhone 12 mini I would definitely pay attention to the fit, especially if it's about cases.
