Any case that protects Pixel 10 Pro camera bump?

I’m planning on upgrading to the Pixel 10 Pro soon, but looking at the design, that camera bump looks even more substantial than previous generations. I’m coming from an older Pixel where the metal on the camera bar got scratched up almost immediately because the case I used didn't have a high enough lip. It’s a beautiful looking phone, but I’m honestly a bit paranoid about laying it flat on a table and scuffing that massive glass array.

I’m looking for recommendations for a case that offers serious protection specifically for the camera housing. I’d love something with a significantly raised bezel—maybe 2mm or more—so the lenses never actually touch the surface when I set it down. Also, does anyone know if there are cases that wrap around the individual sensors rather than just having one giant open cutout? I tend to work in dusty environments, so the less exposed metal, the better. I want to keep the phone looking pristine without adding so much bulk that it feels like a brick in my pocket. Have any of you found a specific brand that handled the previous 'camera bar' design well and is already releasing specs for the 10 Pro? What’s the best option for keeping that camera glass safe from scratches?

Seconding the recommendation above. Honestly, the paranoia is real because those glass bars are basically magnets for micro-abrasions. I've gone through a few Pixels now and I've learned a couple things from my own setups:

1. Check the "lip" depth carefully: I've found that some brands claim to have a raised bezel but it's only like 0.5mm. For the Pro models, you really want something that feels almost excessive when you run your finger over it, otherwise, any uneven table surface is gonna hit the glass.
2. The dust issue: Working in dusty spots is the worst for these. In my experience, the giant open cutouts are a nightmare. Dust gets trapped inside the rim and literally acts like sandpaper against the metal edges.
3. Look for "individual lens" protection: Some of the more technical cases I've used lately actually have precision cutouts for each sensor. It's way harder to clean, but it keeps that beautiful metal finish from getting pitted.

Good luck with the upgrade, it's a beast of a camera bar! 👍

Oh man, I totally get the paranoia. In my experience, the Google camera bars are basically scratch magnets if you aren't careful. I've been a tech nerd for years and I've tried many setups to keep my sensors pristine without making the phone feel like a literal brick in my pocket.

So yeah, for the 10 Pro, you highkey want something with a recessed cutout. Here's what I recommend based on the specs I've seen and my time with previous models:

* Spigen Tough Armor for Pixel 10 Pro: This is a classic for a reason. It usually has about a 2.0mm to 2.5mm lip around the camera, which is exactly what you're asking for.
* Caseology Athlex for Pixel 10 Pro: I love this one because the texture is great for dusty environments and it actually wraps closer to the sensors than most.
* Dbrand Grip Case for Pixel 10 Pro: If you want that individual sensor protection, this is usually the way to go since they offer skins that cover the metal bar *under* the case.

Honestly, even a 1.5mm lip is usually enough for flat tables, but definitely stick with Spigen if you want that extra clearance. It's saved my glass more times than I can count... good luck!

Sooo, similar situation here - I actually spent way too much time obsessing over the exact same thing with my last two Pixels. I work in a machine shop environment sometimes, and honestly, the dust and metal shavings are literally a nightmare for that open camera bar design. I've been there, staring at those tiny micro-abrasions after only a week and feeling like I failed the phone lol.

IIRC, I read a tech breakdown that said the new 10 Pro glass array might be even thicker to accommodate the upgraded telephoto, so the concern about it touching the table is highkey valid. Last year, I went through like three different cases because most brands just leave a giant rectangular hole where the metal is still exposed to everything in your pocket. I finally found a setup where the case material actually filled in the gaps between the lenses—it was like a custom mold rather than just a cutout. It made the phone feel sooo much safer when setting it down on rough surfaces.

Not sure if they've finalized the specs yet, but I think Mous or maybe some of the rugged brands usually lean into that individual-sensor protection. I mean, it's basically a requirement if you're working in dusty spots. My lesson learned? Don't just trust the "raised lip" marketing blurb. I actually used a digital caliper on my old one and found a "2mm lip" was actually only like 0.8mm near the center of the bar because the plastic flexed. It kinda sucks that we have to be this paranoid, but yeah, protecting that glass is priority #1 if you want any resale value later. gl with the hunt!

Honestly, after owning every Pixel since the original redesign, the long-term wear on that camera bar is the biggest resale value killer, right? You are totally right to be cautious about it. If you really want those individual sensor cutouts you mentioned, you should definitely look into the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro. It usually has much tighter precision cutouts compared to the giant open windows most brands use, which is a lifesaver for dusty jobsites. Based on my experience keeping these phones in mint condition for years, here are a few things to consider:

  • Try applying a Dbrand Skin directly to the camera bar before putting it in a case. This creates a physical barrier against the dust that inevitably sneaks inside the case and acts like sandpaper against the metal parts.
  • Check out Mous Limitless 5.0. They use a material called AiroShock that provides a massive protective lip for the lenses without adding the insane bulk of a traditional rugged case. Their design usually feels reallyyy solid.
  • Search for teardown videos on sites like JerryRigEverything once the phone drops. He usually tests the scratch resistance of the camera glass specifically, which will tell you if you need a protector or just a deep case lip. Keeping the phone pristine is mostly about that weekly cleaning routine, maybe? Dust is reallyyy the enemy here more than the table surface itself, so popping the case off to blow out the grit makes a huge difference long-term.

Honestly, I totally agree with the points about the dust and those tiny scratches, it’s such a pain with the camera bar design, right? I've been looking into the DIY side of things lately because I'm reallyyy paranoid about that glass. If you're okay with doing a bit of self-service setup rather than just slapping on a single case, you can get way better coverage. Here is what I’m thinking for a "multi-layer" protection strategy:
* First, grab a Supershieldz Tempered Glass Camera Lens Protector. Most people forget these exist, but they're basically a sacrificial layer for the camera bar glass.
* Combine that with a Ringke Onyx case. It has a really nice textured grip and the lip around the camera is usually pretty deep on their Pixel line.
* You could even look at those DIY vinyl skin kits to cover the exposed metal around the sensors before the case goes on... I'm not 100% sure if the adhesive might leave a bit of residue after a year, but it stops the dust from rubbing against the finish, basically. Tbh, no case is perfect, so I usually just pop the phone out every few days to blow out the grit... definitely helps keep it looking pristine, you know?
