I recently upgraded to the Google Pixel 7 Pro, and while I’m absolutely loving the phone so far, I realized I’m in desperate need of a solid pair of wireless earbuds to go with it. I’m currently using an old wired pair with an adapter, but it’s just not practical for my daily commute or when I'm at the gym.
I’ve been looking into the Pixel Buds Pro, but they’re a bit out of my price range right now. I’m really looking for a 'budget-friendly' alternative—ideally something under $80—that still offers a seamless connection and decent sound quality. Battery life is also a pretty big factor for me since I tend to listen to podcasts for several hours a day. I’ve heard mixed reviews about third-party buds having latency issues with Android, so I’m a little nervous about picking the wrong pair.
Has anyone found a specific brand or model that plays particularly well with the Pixel 7 Pro's features, like Fast Pair or Google Assistant integration? I'd love to hear your personal experiences with durability and comfort for long-term wear. What are the absolute best value-for-money wireless earbuds you’d recommend for a Pixel user on a budget?

For your situation, I've spent way too much time testing budget buds with my Pixel, and I think you've got two solid paths under $80. If you want that "it just works" feeling, honestly go with the Google Pixel Buds A-Series. They lack ANC but have Fast Pair and hands-free Google Assistant which is sooo nice when you're at the gym. Basically no latency issues since they're first-party!
But if you care more about sound and battery, definitely check out the EarFun Air Pro 3. They're usually around $50-$60 and have crazy good ANC for the price. I've used them for 7+ hour podcast marathons and they're super comfy. Plus, they support LE Audio which helps with that latency worry you mentioned. Ngl, the Pixels feel better in-ear for long days, but the EarFun's battery is legendary. Both play really well with Android 13/14, so you cant really go wrong! good luck 👍

Seconding the recommendation above for the A-series, but if ur worried about battery life for those long podcasts, honestly check out the EarFun Air Pro 3. They're super budget-friendly and actually have GREAT battery life plus ANC which helps at the gym.
Quick tips:
* Look for 'LE Audio' support—it's basically the future for Android latency.
* Turn off 'HD Audio' in Bluetooth settings if you ever notice connection stutters.
They play nice with my Pixel and the app is decent too. 👍

sooo i was in the exact same boat when i got my pixel. i’m totally a beginner with this stuff and was super worried about spending money on something that wouldnt even connect right... honestly, i ended up getting the budget-tier buds from google (the ones cheaper than the pros) and im so happy with them!
* they connect instantly with that Fast Pair thingy
* google assistant basically reads my texts while im at the gym
* battery lasts way longer than i expected for my podcasts
i guess i just prefer staying with the same brand cuz it feels safer?? anyway, they definitely dont have those weird latency issues i heard about with other brands. for under eighty bucks, i really think they’re a solid choice if u want something reliable that just WORKS. gl!
