I just upgraded to the Google Pixel 8 Pro in Bay, and it's too beautiful to hide in a bulky plastic case. I'm looking for a high-quality leather case that offers a premium feel without adding too much bulk. Specifically, I’m wondering which brands currently offer the best fit around the camera bar—I'm a bit worried about dust getting trapped there. I've looked at Bellroy, but I've heard mixed reviews about the leather aging quickly. Does anyone have experience with those, or perhaps a better alternative like Mous or a custom leather shop? I'd love something with good grip that develops a nice patina over time. What are you guys using to protect your 8 Pro?

In my experience, picking the right leather for the Pixel bar is tricky cuz of that unique visor design. Honestly, I've tried many cases over the years, and Bellroy is okay, but you're right—the leather is super thin and wears out fast. For your Google Pixel 8 Pro Bay, I would suggest looking at the Mous Limitless 5.0 Leather Case. It has a much tighter seal around the camera bar which basically stops the dust buildup you're worried about.

Here's why I'm a fan:
1. The fit is seriously precise, unlike some cheaper brands.
2. It uses real Mous Speckled Black Leather that's way more durable than Bellroy's.
3. The grip is actually decent for leather.

If you want a truly insane patina, check out dbrand Leather Skin combined with a clear bumper, or maybe a custom Leather Works Minnesota sleeve. But for daily protection? The Mous is king. Enjoy the new phone, the Bay color is fire! Let me know if you need more help deciding lol

ngl, those high-end leather cases are cool but usually way overpriced... basically like 50 bucks for something that wears out in months. honestly, i would suggest checking out the X-Level Earl Series for Google Pixel 8 Pro because it's super slim and looks premium without the markup. it's usually around $15, which is a STEAL compared to Bellroy. i mean, the fit around the camera bar is actually pretty tight so dust isn't a huge issue iirc. plus, at that price, if it gets beat up, you just grab another one! good luck 👍
