Can anyone recommend a slim carbon fiber case for Pixel 9 Pro XL?

I just pre-ordered the Pixel 9 Pro XL and I really want to keep that slim profile without adding a ton of bulk. I've always loved the look and feel of real aramid fiber or carbon fiber cases because they're so thin but still offer decent scratch protection. I’m specifically looking for something with a matte finish and precise cutouts for the new camera bar. I've looked at a few brands online, but I'm worried about the MagSafe magnet strength and whether the lip provides enough screen protection. Does anyone have hands-on experience with a specific brand that fits perfectly? I’d love to hear your favorites!

Check out the Mous Limitless 5.0 Pixel 9 Pro XL Case or the Pitaka MagEZ Case 5 for Pixel 9 Pro XL. I'm kinda new to these high-end cases, but the Pitaka is literally so thin since it uses that 1500D aramid fiber stuff. I've heard the magnets are pretty decent, but maybe be careful cuz the lip protection is kinda minimal on these super slim ones... I mean, you gotta sacrifice something for that profile, right? Definitely check some YouTube drop tests first tho!! hope that helps a bit gl!

Hmm, I've had a different experience with those super thin shells. Respectfully, I'd actually suggest a different approach if you're worried about safety at all. Those 600D cases look sick, but basically they offer zero drop protection for the screen, which is terrifying given how much this phone costs!

I've been really happy with the Spigen Enzo Aramid Case for Pixel 9 Pro XL. It's a bit more practical because:
* It uses real aramid fiber on the back so it still looks premium.
* The TPU bumper actually gives you a decent lip for screen protection.
* MagSafe strength is honestly solidβ€”no complaints with my charger.

I'm still kinda new to these high-end cases, but I feel way safer with this one than the paper-thin ones mentioned earlier. It's a bit cheaper too which is nice. Not 100% sure if it's "slim" enough for you, but it works well for me! 👍

yo! so i actually just picked up the Thinborne Pixel 9 Pro XL Case 600D Aramid Fiber and it is honestly AMAZING. I'm a total spec nerd and this thing uses real 600D aramid fiber which is way thinner and stronger than the cheaper 1500D stuff you see everywhere. the MagSafe magnets are actually SUPER strongβ€”it snaps right onto my charger and doesnt budge. the camera cutouts are literally perfect too! its basically the thinnest way to protect that new camera bar without making it feel like a brick lol. gl!

I am going to jump in here and respectfully disagree that these all-in-one branded cases are the only way to go. Tbh, I am always a little cautious about trusting a single piece of thin fiber to protect an expensive phone like the Pixel 9 Pro XL. I usually prefer more of a DIY approach to get the perfect balance of slimness and safety. Basically, you can mix and match components instead of settling for a professional pre-made case that might have weak magnets or a bad lip. Here is what I would recommend for a custom setup:

  • Dbrand Carbon Fiber Skin for that authentic matte texture on the back
  • RhinoShield CrashGuard Bumper to give you real drop protection on the edges without covering the back
  • MagSafe Universal Ring Adapter if you want to dial in the magnet strength yourself It takes a little more effort to set up than just snapping on a case, but it stays way slimmer than the Spigen or Mous options while keeping the aramid feel. I am pretty sure this gives you better screen protection too since bumpers usually have a much bigger lip than those ultra-thin shells. Idk, it just feels like a safer middle ground if you are worried about those trade-offs!

Man I wish I found this thread sooner. Would have saved me so much hassle.
