Hey everyone! I just picked up the new Pixel 10 Pro, but I've noticed my old car adapter is barely trickling power into it during my commute. Since this phone supports pretty high speeds, I’m looking for a charger that actually triggers that 'Charging Rapidly' notification. I know Google devices are picky and usually require Power Delivery (PD) with PPS for the best results, but I'm worried about getting something that might overheat or not hit the full wattage. Does anyone have a specific brand or model they’re using that consistently fast-charges the Pixel 10 Pro without any issues? I'd love to hear what's working best for you!

Ok so I'm pretty new to the Pixel world too, but I totally get the struggle! I was worried about my phone getting too hot while driving, so I picked up the Anker 523 Charger Nano 47W and it's been solid. It has that PPS tech you mentioned, which honestly makes a huge difference. It's usually around $25-$30, so not too bad for the peace of mind. Just make sure to use a good cable like the Anker 643 USB-C to USB-C Cable Flow so you actually get those fast speeds! Hope that helps you out!
Just sharing my experience: I went through this same thing cuz i didnt wanna drop $50 on the official Google plug if i could avoid it. I actually compared a few PPS-enabled bricks to see what's the best value while still hitting those 30W+ speeds on my Pixel.
Basically, here is how my tests went down:
* Ugreen 69W USB C Car Charger: This is my current daily driver. It hits the "Charging Rapidly" text immediately and was super affordable. It has three ports so i can charge my buds too, plus it stays cool even on long drives.
* Spigen ArcStation 45W Car Charger: This one is super low-profile and basically disappears into the dash. It's solid for PPS support but slightly more expensive per watt than the Ugreen.
* Baseus 65W USB C Car Charger: Really high power output and looks cool with the LED display, tho it felt a bit cheaper in the hand compared to the others.
Honestly, I'm super satisfied with the Ugreen one. It's basically the sweet spot for budget and specs without the "Google tax" lol. Just make sure ur using a 100W rated cable too or it might throttle the speed anyway! peace
Late to the party but I wanted to drop a quick tip since I have been testing these for years. Always check the PPS voltage range in the specs because some cheap ones dont have the wide range the Pixel 10 Pro likes for that max 45W draw. I personally prefer Spigen ArcStation 75W Dual USB C Car Charger over the Ugreen stuff because it feels a bit more heavy duty and handles heat better imo. If you want something super minimal, Baseus 65W USB C Car Charger is basically flush with the socket and still triggers the fast charging perfectly. Also, check out the Google Pixel community hardware spreadsheets on Reddit if you want to nerd out on the raw data. They have tests showing exactly how many watts each brand pulls. Just make sure you pair it with a solid cable like the Anker 765 USB-C to USB-C Cable 140W Nylon or similar so you dont have a bottleneck at the cord level.
Great info, saved!
