Hey everyone! I just picked up a Google Pixel 6a and I’m loving it so far, but I realized my old car setup isn't cutting it anymore. I'm looking for a solid mount that won't block my view but can handle a few bumps on the road without the phone slipping. Also, I really need a car charger that actually supports the 6a’s fast charging—I’ve had issues with generic chargers being way too slow. Should I look for a specific USB-PD brand, and do you prefer vent clips or dashboard mounts for this phone? I’d love to hear what setups you're using to keep your 6a secure and powered up!

Ok so ur best bet is actually the Anker 323 Car Charger 32W USB-C for $15 and Lamicall Car Vent Phone Mount ($12)! Seriously cheap and works AMAZING with my 6a!!

Just caught up on this thread and you guys covered the basics well, especially that bit about PPS support being key for keeping the 6a cool. If you want to level up the setup, I went the DIY magsafe route which has been a game changer for me. I added a Spigen Mag Fit Adhesive Plate to my 6a case so I could use magnetic mounts. For the mount itself, I use the ESR HaloLock Magnetic Car Phone Mount and honestly it is way more secure than any vent clip I have tried. For the actual power, the Spigen ArcStation 40W Dual USB C Car Charger is killer because it has two ports that both support fast charging. Definitely more of a pro setup than the budget ones mentioned earlier but it makes long drives way less annoying!

> "I’ve had issues with generic chargers being way too slow." Honestly, that's basically because the generic market is still flooded with older QC 3.0 tech that doesn't talk to the Pixel's PD handshake properly. I’ve noticed brands like Belkin and Spigen are finally catching up with PPS (Programmable Power Supply) support, which is what the 6a really needs to stay cool while fast charging. It's kinda crazy how much the technical specs vary between different brands these days!!!
