Hey everyone! I finally bit the bullet and picked up the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and man, it's gorgeous but I'm terrified of scratching it. Since it's such a huge investment, I really need a solid screen protector that actually lasts.

I've looked at a few options online, but I'm specifically worried about:

  • How the protector fits near the hinge area
  • If it messes with the touch sensitivity on the outer display
  • Finding one that's compatible with a slim case

Has anyone found a brand that fits perfectly and doesn't peel off after a week? I'm looking for something super durable that can handle daily wear and tear. What are you all using to protect your Fold?

I agree with the Spigen pick, but having looked at the specs further, Id suggest the Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector for Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It uses liquid dispersion tech that cures with UV light, creating a much stronger bond than standard adhesive. This is great for keeping that 9H hardness rating without losing any touch sensitivity on the outer display.

Try amFilm OneTouch Screen Protector for Pixel 9 Pro Fold 2-Pack. It has 0.33mm thickness for great sensitivity and is way cheaper than premium kits, so you wont overpay for protection.

Congrats on the upgrade! I went through a few options but honestly, the Spigen GLAS.tR EZ Fit Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Pixel 9 Pro Fold is the way to go. The alignment tray makes it foolproof to install, and it doesnt interfere with my thin cases at all. Sensitivity is spot on too. I wouldnt mess with the inner screen tho, just keep the factory film on that part.

Honestly, I am in the exact same boat. I just picked mine up and I am terrified of scratching that outer glass already. Foldables are such a different beast... Before you buy anything, are you looking for just the outer screen or a full kit for the inner one too? Also, whats your budget for this? Those premium ones get pricey fast.
