Jumping in real quick because I love talking about this stuff! Whoa, the Pixel 10 Pro is gonna be such a beast for mobile tech. Before you drop any cash though, I gotta ask... what are you actually planning to do with it? Like are we talking watching movies on a giant virtual screen or some full room-scale gaming? Knowing that makes a huge difference! Since the other guys already mentioned the Quest stuff, I think you should look at the Pico 4 All-in-One VR Headset. I been using one for a bit and the optics are just fantastic. If you are super worried about that heat issue the last guy brought up - which is a totally valid concern btw - check out the XREAL Air 2 Pro AR Glasses. They pair amazing with Pixels for a private cinema vibe without literally cooking your phone inside a plastic box lol. Definitely more reliable for long sessions since the display isnt actually sitting right against the phone casing!
Honestly, I'm gonna have to disagree a bit with the others here, even though they mean well. Tbh, after using my phone with a VR setup for a few years, I've become way more worried about the reliability and safety of the hardware than the actual "features" of the headset. Here is what I found out with the one I got:
* The heat buildup was actually pretty scary... like, I worried about the internal components of my phone.
* My battery health dropped way faster than it should've because of the constant high-drain.
* The ports can get loose if your moving around too much, which is a total pain. Anyway, I'd just be careful about plugging a brand new 10 Pro into stuff until we know how it handles the thermal load. I’d hate for you to fry a expensive new device just for some VR things...
