I'm finally upgrading to the Pixel 10 Pro and want to keep it in mint condition from day one! I'm looking for a slim case that still offers solid drop protection. Also, does anyone know if tempered glass protectors interfere with the fingerprint sensor on this model? Which brands are you all eyeing for the best protection?

Ok so, adding my two cents here cuz I've spent way too much time obsessing over this stuff lol. For the slim-but-protective vibe, I would suggest checking out the Spigen Liquid Air Case for Pixel 10 Pro. It's basically my go-to because it adds almost zero bulk but the triangle texture on the back makes it way harder to drop in the first place. If you want something slightly more rugged but still pocketable, the Caseology Athlex for Pixel 10 Pro is honestly a sleeper hit with that dual-layer grip. Regarding the fingerprint sensor... yeah, it's lowkey a valid concern. The Pixel 10 Pro uses an ultrasonic sensor, which is way faster than the old optical ones but can be picky with thick glass. From my experience with similar setups, you really want a protector that uses LOCA glue. I highkey recommend the Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector for Pixel 10 Pro. It's a bit of a process to install (at least thats what worked for me), but since the liquid adhesive fills any microscopic gaps, the sensor works basically perfectly. If you dont wanna deal with the UV light mess, the amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass for Pixel 10 Pro usually works well too. Just make sure to re-register your fingerprints AFTER you put the glass on, and definitely toggle on the "Screen Protector Mode" in the display settings... it makes a huge difference. Honestly, it just depends on your needs and how much patience you have for the install! gl.

Seconding the recommendation above! tbh after testing tons of setups for this phone, I've found you don't need to drop $50 for real safety. I'm lowkey obsessed with durability, so I always check for MIL-STD ratings. For budget-friendly protection:
* Ringke Onyx Case for Google Pixel 10 Pro - great grip.
* amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Google Pixel 10 Pro - easy application. Just re-scan your prints *after* applying the glass! gl

Sooo, I actually just got a similar setup for mine! Ngl, I was super worried about the fingerprint sensor cuz I've had issues before where the glass was just too thick or whatever. I ended up getting a screen protector that was pretty cheap but basically works fine. Just a heads up, I had to re-scan my fingerprints after putting it on, so be careful to do that or it might act up. For the case, I chose a really slim one cuz I hate bulky phones, but I'm honestly a bit nervous about drops. It cost me like $25 total which is great for the budget, but you gotta weigh the risk vs the long-term cost... my current setup feels good in my hand tho. Anyway, I think you'll be fine if you're careful!! Are you planning on getting a warranty too? peace
