I just pre-ordered the Pixel 10 Pro XL and I'm beyond excited, but also a little terrified of dropping it given its massive size! I’ve usually stuck with Spigen or Caseology in the past, but I’m looking for something that offers serious drop protection without turning the phone into a total brick in my pocket. I'm especially concerned about keeping that prominent camera bar safe from scratches. Does anyone have recommendations for a case that has great grip and maybe even strong MagSafe compatibility for accessories? What are you guys planning to pick up to keep your new device safe on day one?

Similar situation here - I've tried many cases over the years and thin ones usually fail that big camera bar. I went through this last year when a drop cracked my glass cuz the lip wasnt high enough. I ended up switching to the Dbrand Grip Case for Pixel 10 Pro XL because the safety and texture were just better. Quick tip: test MagSafe strength with accessories before trusting it completely tbh!!

Ok so, basically a case is just cheap insurance for a super expensive investment!! Background info: the Pixel 10 Pro XL is a total beast, but that extra weight means it hits the ground HARD if you slip. Why it matters: if you dont have a decent lip on the camera visor, one drop on gravel and it is basically game over for those lenses. Honestly, you dont have to spend $60+ to get amazing protection though!

Here's what I recommend for the best value:
* Ringke Onyx Magnetic Case for Pixel 10 Pro XL — This is literally the king of budget grip. It’s usually around $15 and the sandpaper-like texture is fantastic for holding a huge phone securely.
* Poetic Neon Series MagSafe Case for Pixel 10 Pro XL — Highkey strong magnets and serious dual-layer drop protection for like $20.

I'm always a bit cautious about those ultra-thin cases, so these offer a much better safety net without turning your phone into a brick. gl! 👍

I'm still pretty new to the Pixel world, but honestly, I've been looking into more of a DIY approach to save some cash. I was realy worried about that camera bar too, so I ended up getting the TUDIA DualShield Grip Case since it has those thick layers that feel super solid. Basically, instead of paying for a $60 case, you can actualy just get a basic tough one and add your own magnetic ring to the back for MagSafe... it’s a pretty good self-service way to get the features you want without the huge price tag. Just make sure the surface is realy clean before you stick the magnet on or it'll just slide off... does anyone know if those rings ever mess with the internal battery though? I'm still trying to figure that part out lol.

Be careful with super thin cases!! Most dont have a high enough lip, so ur camera bar WILL get scratched. Honestly, I would suggest going with Spigen for protection without the bulk...

Curious about one thing: are you looking for a clear case to show off the color or do you prefer a solid grippy texture?? I ask cuz MagSafe strength varies highkey between brands... I've been super satisfied with Mous Limitless 5.0 for Pixel 10 Pro XL lately cuz it actually protects that camera bar without adding a ton of bulk. Let me know your style preference and I can give more technical specs!!
