I just got my hands on the new Google Pixel 9 Pro and I am absolutely loving it so far! However, it feels a bit slippery in my hand and I am honestly terrified of dropping it. I am looking for a case that offers solid drop protection without turning the phone into a huge brick.
I have been looking at options like the Spigen Tough Armor or maybe something from dbrand, but I am curious what everyone else is using. Specifically, I am looking for:
- Something with a raised lip for that new camera bar
- Magsafe compatibility for my magnetic car mount
- A texture that is not a total fingerprint magnet
Does anyone have a favorite rugged but slim case that fits the Pixel 9 Pro perfectly?

+1 to that! Big brands are overpriced and unfortunately not as good as expected.

I once watched my phone slide off a table and it was a total nightmare. For your situation, i suggest:
- Dbrand Grip Case for Google Pixel 9 Pro: its like sandpaper so it wont slip and hides fingerprints.
- UAG Metropolis LT Pro for Google Pixel 9 Pro: basically a slim tank with a clean fabric back. Both have huge camera lips and MagSafe. Lesson learned: grip is everything to avoid a heart attack! peace.

Respectfully, I'd consider another option. Honestly, I've had a bad experience with those super slim cases cuz they dont absorb shock well. I learned that when I shattered a screen on my last phone. My current setup is way better!!
- the matte texture on mine is MUCH better for fingerprints
- make sure the magnets are actually aligned right for ur car
- i prefer a softer TPU feel for grip Good luck finding one!

I have spent way too much money on cases and phone stuff lately and honestly... most are a letdown. For your situation, here is what I recommend:
- Mous Limitless 5.0 Aramid Fiber for Google Pixel 9 Pro: Best balance. Aramid for impact dispersion and magnets are seriously strong for ur car mount. Great lip for the camera too.
- Spigen Tough Armor MagFit Case for Google Pixel 9 Pro: Unfortunately, this one feels like a total BRICK. Solid protection but not as slim as expected. Go with Mous. Pricey but it actually fits perfectly. gl

Like someone mentioned, grip is everything to avoid a heart attack, and I totally agree! If you want something that feels like high-end engineering instead of just a piece of plastic, you have to check out the Peak Design Everyday Case for Google Pixel 9 Pro.
