I just pre-ordered the Pixel 9 Pro and I’m a bit nervous about that new camera bar design—it looks stunning, but I’m terrified of scratching it! I’m looking for recommendations on a high-quality protective case that isn't too bulky. I want something with a good grip that can survive a drop on pavement, but still fits easily in my pocket. I’ve also been curious about MagSafe-compatible cases for the Pixel to use with my existing car mounts. Have any of you tried the official Google cases, or should I stick with brands like Spigen or Mous for better durability? What’s the best balance of protection and style you've found so far?

Stumbled upon this today... basically, if you want MagSafe without the $50 Mous Limitless 5.0 for Pixel 9 Pro price tag, check out Ringke Onyx Magnetic for Pixel 9 Pro. It's usually around $18. Pro tip: use CamelCamelCamel to track price drops. Honestly, Spigen Magnetic Ultra Hybrid for Pixel 9 Pro is another solid $25 budget pick. Just make sure the magnets align or wireless charging gets weird!!

I'd definately go with the dbrand Grip Case for Pixel 9 Pro for the best safety. It has an insane grip and a HUGE lip for that camera bar so you wont drop or scratch it and it fits ur pocket easily too... plus the magnets are solid for car mounts. Also check out Torras Magnetic Guardian for Pixel 9 Pro if you want a reliable feel that still protects everything realy well, gl!

- I totally agree with NightOwl, that camera lip is a lifesaver! I am super paranoid about dropping my new tech so I spent all night looking at the most reliable options. I think the OtterBox Symmetry Series for Pixel 9 Pro is amazing for pure peace of mind. Its way thinner than the old bulky ones but still feels like a tank. Ngl tho, make sure you check if the specific model has the magnets because some versions dont. For even more safety, the UAG Monarch Pro for Pixel 9 Pro is fantastic!! It has five layers of protection which sounds like overkill but I love it for the reliability. The grip is solid and it definitely wont slip out of your hand. TL;DR: OtterBox is the classic reliable pick, but UAG Monarch Pro is the king for MagSafe plus max protection!!
