Hey everyone! I just picked up the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, and while I love the design, I’m terrified of dropping this massive glass slab. I’m specifically looking for a case that provides heavy-duty protection for that signature camera bar without making the phone feel like a literal brick in my pocket. I’ve been eyeing some Spigen and dbrand options, but I’m curious if anyone has found a rugged case that also supports MagSafe accessories? Good grip is a must since the phone feels a bit slippery. Does anyone have a favorite go-to brand that balances drop protection with a slim profile for the 9 Pro XL?
In my experience, finding that balance between tank-like protection and a slim feel is basically the holy grail for Pixel users. I've been rocking Pixels since the OG days, and honestly, the camera bar is always the trickiest part to protect without it getting too bulky. For your situation, I'm super satisfied with the Mous Limitless 5.0 for Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. They use this AiroShock tech that absorbs impact reallyyy well without adding mass. Plus, the MagSafe magnets are seriously strong—way better than most. If you wanna even more grip, the dbrand Grip Case for Google Pixel 9 Pro XL is legendary. It has a micro-texture that makes it basically impossible to slip. Both provide a raised lip for the camera bar so the glass stays safe. Ive had zero cracked screens over the years and works well. gl! 👍
For your situation, I’ve been reallyyy cautious with mine too cuz it’s basically a giant mirror. I compared Spigen Tough Armor MagFit for Pixel 9 Pro XL vs dbrand Grip Case for Pixel 9 Pro XL. Spigen uses dual-layer shock foam for safety, but dbrand is literally like sandpaper in ur hand. Both have decent MagSafe, tho idk if the magnets are super strong. TL;DR: Spigen for safety, dbrand for grip.
Exactly what I was thinking
