Which screen protector fits the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold best?

I just picked up the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and I’m a bit nervous about keeping that outer screen scratch-free. Since the dimensions are unique, I’m worried about finding a tempered glass protector that actually fits the edges perfectly without lifting when I put a case on. I’ve seen a few generic ones online, but I'm concerned about the front camera cutout alignment and whether they interfere with the hinge movement. I’m looking for something high-quality that maintains touch sensitivity and doesn't have that annoying 'halo' effect on the edges. Has anyone found a specific brand or model that offers a truly seamless fit for the 9 Pro Fold’s cover display?

Ok so, I literally just went through this struggle with my new phone too! Since I'm kinda new to foldables, I was SO worried about that front screen getting scratched. For your situation, I would suggest checking out the Spigen Glas.tR EZ Fit Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Pixel 9 Pro Fold. I picked it up cuz it was like $20 for a two-pack, which is a total steal compared to some other brands.

I really like it because:
1. The alignment tool makes it basically impossible to mess up the front camera cutout.
2. It leaves just enough space around the edges so my case doesn't push it up.
3. The touch sensitivity feels exactly like the bare glass, tbh.

I was worried it might interfere with the hinge, but it's thin enough that it's a non-issue. You might want to consider making sure your screen is SUPER clean before applying it though, cuz even one tiny dust spec will ruin the vibe... gl! 👍

sooo i totally get the anxiety about that outer screen... i mean it's way too expensive to leave unprotected! i've tried a few and since i'm always worried about wasting money, i did some digging. check out Whitestone Dome Glass UV Gen Screen Protector for Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold if you want the absolute best fit. it uses liquid adhesive so there's NO halo effect at all, though it's a bit pricey and the install is kinda intense. but honestly?? if you want to save some cash, i'd suggest looking at amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Pixel 9 Pro Fold. it's basically half the price of the big brands and fits perfectly with most cases without lifting. i actually prefer it cuz the alignment tool is foolproof. gl!!

Honestly, I feel you on the struggle to find the perfect fit. I was super excited for the new dimensions on this model, but it makes finding accessories a total nightmare. I've already gone through two different protectors because the technical specs on some of these third-party brands are just... off.

One I tried had a nasty gap around the edges that collected lint like crazy, and another one was too wide, so my case literally popped the corners up the second I snapped it on. Talk about frustrating! I eventually settled on a setup I found through a tech forum that uses a much thinner adhesive layer. It's basically invisible and doesn't interfere with the hinge at all, which was my biggest worry. The touch sensitivity is still great, though I did notice a tiny bit of friction at first. Just be careful with the alignment near that front camera—some of these "precision" cuts are anything but precise. Good luck, hope you find one that actually sticks!

Wait, before you buy anything else, I have a quick question—what kind of case are you planning to use with it??? I’m also pretty new to this whole foldable thing and doing the DIY install myself was honestly way more stressful than I thought it would be lol. Like, I'm super eager to get it right but I'm still learning the tricks! If you're still looking for a general direction, here’s what I’d think about: 1. Honestly, just look at the dbrand stuff if you want something that feels high-end without being a total pain to line up, you know?
2. You could also just grab whatever Google has on their official store since it's basically guaranteed to fit the dimensions perfectly, right?
3. Maybe try looking into those flexible film protectors instead of the hard glass ones if the hinge or the 'halo' effect is your biggest fear? I'm still figuring out the best way to get them on perfectly straight without dust getting under there, it's basically a whole skill you have to learn tbh!!

^ This. Also, I was super stressed about the outer screen since this phone is basically my life now lol. I actually went through a bit of a nightmare before I found a setup I am finally happy with. I initially bought a pack of those really cheap generic protectors from some random seller because I figured glass is glass, right? Boy was I wrong... the alignment was totally off and it actually started peeling up whenever I folded the phone because it was just a tiny bit too wide for the hinge clearance. I ended up doing a DIY install with a kit that included a plastic frame for alignment and honestly it was a game changer. Ngl I was shaking while dropping the glass onto the screen because I didnt want any bubbles or dust trapped under there. If you are doing it yourself, seriously, do it in the bathroom after a hot shower to keep the dust down. It sounds crazy but it works so well and I have no complaints now. Just stay away from anything that doesnt explicitly mention case compatibility tho, learned that the hard way when my first case just popped the protector right off.
