so i just got the new moto g power 2025 like literally two days ago and im already lowkey panicking because i am the clumsiest person alive. i spent way more than i usually do on a phone and i really dont want to ruin it immediately. my last phone had a screen that looked like a spiderweb after like a month and i promised myself id do better this time around but honestly looking online is making my head spin.
i went on amazon and there are like a thousand different options and i dont even know what most of the words mean like whats the difference between tempered glass and just a regular film? is one better if i drop it a lot? i have a big hiking trip coming up this saturday in colorado and i really need to get something ordered by tonight so it gets here in time but i dont want to buy total junk that is gonna peel off or have a bunch of bubbles under it because that drives me crazy.
sorry if this is a really basic thing to ask but i literally have no idea where to start or if certain brands are better than others. i saw some that come in a pack of three for like five dollars and then others that are thirty dollars for just one and it makes no sense to me. my budget is maybe like twenty or thirty bucks if it actually works well and stays on.
are there any specific ones that you guys have used for the 2025 model that are easy for a beginner to put on? i tried putting one on an old phone once and it was a total disaster with lint and bubbles everywhere so if there is one that comes with a little guide or something that would be amazing. please let me know what you think i should get before i accidentally drop this thing on the pavement today...
> i dont want to buy total junk that is gonna peel off or have a bunch of bubbles I would suggest the Motorola+Moto+G+Power+5G+2025&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OtterBox Trusted Glass for Motorola Moto G Power 5G 2025. Be careful with cheap stuff; make sure to clean the screen perfectly or it definitely wont stick right.
> is one better if i drop it a lot? Honestly, definitely go with tempered glass. It actually shatters so your screen doesnt have to. I am really satisfied with the Motorola+Moto+G+Power+5G+2025+Tempered+Glass+Screen+Protector+3-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Supershieldz for Motorola Moto G Power 5G 2025 Tempered Glass Screen Protector 3-Pack. It is cheap, works well, and saved my phone twice already. Film ones are basically just for scratches and wont stop a crack if you drop it while hiking.
I totally get the anxiety... i once ruined three protectors in a row because a single cat hair floated in at the last second... it was a total nightmare. Since you are heading to Colorado, you really want to check the technical specs for 9H hardness and a decent oleophobic coating to keep the trail dust and finger oils off. I would suggest looking at these specific options:
