Upgrading from a cracked Moto G Power (2020) and need a protector for the new Stylus (2025) ASAP. I saw Supershieldz, but people say the pen feels "draggy" on them, and I’m worried about the 2025's specific edge curves. My logic was tempered glass, but will it mess up the stylus sensitivity? Any brands that actually fit and work well?

> I saw Supershieldz, but people say the pen feels "draggy" on them. So funny you ask this — last summer I went through three brands — wait, no — four, actually, before I realized that plastic film is the enemy of the pen. You need amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Moto G Stylus 2025 because it preserves that smooth, frictionless glass-on-glass feeling. Tempered glass doesn't have the "bite" that film does, so your stylus won't snag. Stick with thin tempered glass.

Look, I've spent twenty-five years in a shop. You learn real fast that if the tolerances are off — even by a hair — the whole thing is junk. People keep talking about 'feel' like it’s some mystery. Listen, it’s just physics. You want a surface that doesn't create friction when that stylus tip hits the deck.

  • Grab the amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Moto G Stylus 5G 2025 and don't look back. It’s got the right oleophobic coating — that’s the slick stuff — so the pen glides like a clean piston.
  • Make sure you use the alignment frame — wait, no — I think this specific kit uses the sticker tabs. Anyway, use the guides. If you're off by a millimeter on those 2025 curved edges, the glass won't seat. You'll get 'halo' lifting.
  • Clean the screen with 90% isopropyl first. Most of these 'prep pads' they give you are bone dry.

Are you using the stock stylus? Drag occurs based on surface tension.

^ This. Also, Mr.Shield Tempered Glass 3-Pack for Moto G Stylus 2025 is the best budget move. You can usually find a 3-pack for under $10. Tbh, it is a waste to spend $30 on a single protector when the stylus works perfectly on cheap tempered glass. The "drag" people mention is almost always from cheap PET films, not glass. Ngl, the edge curves on the 2025 model are annoying for fitment. This brand usually leaves a 1-2mm gap to prevent lifting. Lowkey, I saw on a YouTube teardown that the 2025 screen is relatively flat until the very edge, so these should stick fine. Idk if this applies to every batch, but the multi-pack is safer if you mess up the first install. It preserves the pen sensitivity without the high cost.
