I just picked up the Motorola Edge (2024) and I love how sleek it feels! I’m looking for a super slim case that doesn't add bulk and a screen protector that actually fits the edges perfectly. Does anyone have recommendations that won’t interfere with gesture navigation? What are you guys using to keep yours safe?

Saw this earlier but just now responding! Ngl, I've been using curved screens for years now, and the lesson I've learned is that heavy glass often ruins ur gesture swipes... been there, done that lol. Basically, if u want that slim feel without the lift, high-quality TPU film is the way to go because it actually wraps around the curves properly without interfering with navigation. Check out these budget-friendly picks that worked well for me: * Motorola+Edge+%282024%29&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ringke Onyx Case for Motorola Edge (2024) – This one is super slim but has a nice "sandstone" grip so it doesn't slide out of ur hand.
* Motorola+Edge+%282024%29&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Supershieldz High Definition Clear Shield (PET) for Motorola Edge (2024) – These are thin and won't mess with ur fingerprint sensor or swipes at all. Pro tip: There's a great resource at Amazon Warehouse if u search for accessories there. I've grabbed premium cases for like 8 bucks before. Honestly, I'm really satisfied with the Ringke setup... it's affordable and keeps the phone looking reallyyy clean!! gl!

Just saw this... I'm pretty cautious with my gear, so check out these alternatives: - Motorola+Edge+%282024%29&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Encased Thin Armor for Motorola Edge (2024): Basically invisible, very sleek fit.
- Motorola+Edge+%282024%29&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">TUDIA DualShield for Motorola Edge (2024): A bit more lip protection but still feels slim. I'm satisfied with how both handle gesture navigation. Pro tip: Look at the Supershieldz UV Tempered Glass Screen Protector—UV adhesive is technically superior for curved glass stability!! gl

hey! Honestly, I feel u on this one. I literally just got the same phone and spent way too long looking for stuff that wouldnt ruin that sleek feel. For your situation, I would suggest looking at the Motorola+Edge+2024&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Liquid Air for Motorola Edge 2024. It is super slim but has this matte texture that actually helps with grip, which is nice cuz the phone is kinda slippery naked. I also tried the Motorola+Protective+Case+for+Motorola+Edge+2024&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola Protective Case for Motorola Edge 2024 which is basically as thin as it gets, tho it might not protect much if u drop it hard... so like, be careful lol. For the screen protector, curved edges are highkey a pain to deal with. I tried a glass one first but it totally messed with my swipes and felt chunky. I ended up switching to the Motorola+Edge+%282024%29+Screen+Protector+TPU+Film&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Supershieldz (2 Pack) for Motorola Edge (2024) Screen Protector TPU Film. It's not glass, but it wraps around the edges way better and doesnt interfere with the gesture navigation at all. You might want to consider a film instead of tempered glass if you're worried about the bulk. Just make sure to take your time applying it cuz bubbles are the worst... I messed up my first attempt tbh. Anyway, so yeah, that is what worked for me so far!! gl!

I would suggest going with ArmorSuit film and Caseology cases. After years of testing, I've seen glass always fail on curves. TL;DR: TPU and Caseology are definitely safer for gestures.

Its hard to say for sure since I'm still testing things out, but here is what I've gathered so far.

  • Aramid fiber cases seem to be the gold standard for thinness. Someone told me they basically feel like part of the phone but IIRC they are mostly for scratch protection rather than big drops.
  • For the screen, I think those thin PET films might be better for gesture performance than the thicker TPU ones. The gummy feeling of TPU can sometimes make your thumb catch during a fast swipe.
  • Look for cases that have lowered side edges. If the lip is too high on the sides, it makes swiping from the edge feel pretty awkward. Not sure if thats exactly what you're after, but that is the direction I'm heading with my own setup.

ngl, im in the exact same boat right now with my Edge 2024. been using Moto phones for what feels like forever and these curved screens always give me a massive headache when it comes to finding decent protection. one thing ive learned the hard way over the years is to really watch out for those dirt-cheap generic cases. they might look thin in the pictures, but they usually have these nasty sharp seams that make gesture navigation feel like youre rubbing your thumb against a cheese grater. also, definitely be careful with glass protectors that only have adhesive on the edges. they might seem easy to install, but in my experience, they always ruin the touch sensitivity and make that annoying clicking sound every time you tap. honestly, i still havent found a setup i truly love yet, so im just being extra careful while i keep looking... it is a struggle lol.
