So I totally managed to lose the little pen thing that comes with my Moto G Stylus 2025 and Im honestly kind of freaking out because I just got the phone like two weeks ago as a birthday gift to myself. I was at this coffee shop in downtown Chicago trying to jot down some grocery notes while holding a latte and I think it just slipped out of the hole and fell into the crack of the sofa or something? I went back to look but no luck and now there is just this empty hole in the bottom of my phone which is driving my anxiety crazy lol. I tried looking on Amazon but there are like a million options and I have no idea what I am looking at. Some say passive and some say active and some look like they have big rubber tips while others are pointy like the original one. I really dont want to spend more than 20 or 25 bucks if I can help it because I already spent way too much this month. Is there a specific one that actually fits inside the phone? I bought one at CVS just to try it but it was way too fat and didnt do anything except smudge my screen which was super annoying. I am such a newbie with this stuff and I feel so dumb for losing it so fast but I really miss being able to scribble notes. Do I have to buy the official Motorola one or are there cheaper ones that work the same way and wont fall out again? If anyone knows which ones are actually compatible with the 2025 model please let me know because I am super confused by all the tech specs...
Quick tip since I've handled a ton of these! You gotta get the Giyitham Replacement Stylus for Moto G Stylus 2025 because it actually clicks into the silo... properly and wont fall out. Most generic ones are passive junk, but this one works with the sensor perfectly. Also, pro tip: if it ever feels loose, a tiny bit of clear tape around the top makes it stay in there forever! Love it!
You definitely need a pen that matches the specific silo dimensions and triggers the internal sensor.
I went through a similar mess with an older model and learned the hard way that cheap replacements can be super risky. I once bought a generic pack that looked right but was like a millimeter too thick. I almost cracked the internal housing trying to force it in, which wouldve been way more expensive than just buying the right pen. You really have to watch out for those universal ones because they usually dont have the capacitive nib that the Moto screen needs to actually register your handwriting properly. Few things to watch for:
Lost mine at a concert once, total nightmare. I learned the hard way that passive ones are basically just a finger substitute. The one I got for my Motorola+Moto+G+Stylus+2025&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Motorola Moto G Stylus 2025 fits perfectly and clicks in just like the original, which makes me super happy honestly. No complaints about the latency since its using the same digitizer tech.
