Hey everyone! I finally upgraded to the brand new Moto G Power (2026) after holding onto my old 2022 model for way too long. The battery life on this thing is as legendary as they promised, but I’ve hit a bit of a snag with my audio setup. My old trusty wired buds are finally on their last legs, and I figured since I’ve got this sleek new device, it’s time to officially cut the cord and go fully wireless.

I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of options out there right now. I’ve been looking for something that matches the 'marathon' vibe of the G Power. I really need a pair of earbuds that can last at least 8-10 hours on a single charge because I tend to go on long hikes and don't want to keep popping them back in the case every couple of hours. I'm especially interested in something that won't drain the phone's battery too quickly either.

I’m curious if any of you have tested specific brands that play nice with Motorola’s Bluetooth implementation. I've heard some buds can have weird sync or latency issues on mid-range chips, and I do watch a lot of YouTube and Netflix on my commute. Also, since the 2026 G Power supports the newer Bluetooth LE Audio standards, I’d love to find something that actually takes advantage of that for better efficiency and sound quality.

My budget is around $120—I’m looking for that sweet spot where I get great sound and decent noise cancellation without paying a massive premium for a brand name. I've been eyeing the latest Soundcore or Sony mid-range models, but I'm open to anything that fits securely since I also plan on using them at the gym.

So, for those of you who have already picked up the new G Power, which wireless earbuds have you found provide the most stable connection and best battery life? I'd love to hear your personal experiences or any specific recommendations you have before I buy!

Yo, congrats on the upgrade! That battery on the G Power is seriously insane, so I totally get wanting buds that can keep up. For your situation, I would suggest looking at the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Noise Cancelling Earbuds. Honestly, I've been using them for a bit and they're probably the best match for that marathon vibe you're talking about. I usually get about 8-9 hours on a single charge, which is great for long hikes, though it's maybe a bit less if you've got the noise cancelling cranked up to the max.

Since you're worried about the Bluetooth LE Audio stuff, it's worth noting that Motorola's implementation can sometimes be a bit wierd with certain third-party brands. I'd definately stay away from the super cheap generic stuff. I also tested the Sony WF-C700N Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds but the battery life just isnt there for 10-hour days. Plus, the Soundcore app has a low-latency mode that's basically essential for watching Netflix so you dont get that annoying lip-sync delay on mid-range chips.

One thing though—be cautious with the fit at the gym. They stay in okay for me, but everyone's ears are different. If you need something even more secure, maybe check out the Jabra Elite 4 Active True Wireless Sports Earbuds, but since Jabra is pivoting away from consumer buds, it might be safer to stick with Soundcore or Sony for long-term support. Just my two cents, gl! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above! Those Sony buds are basically bulletproof, but I had a moment to think about this more and I'm honestly obsessed with the EarFun Air Pro 3 Noise Cancelling Wireless Earbuds. I've been using them for my long weekend treks and they are AMAZING! They actually support LE Audio with the LC3 codec, which is a total game changer for your Moto G Power cuz it keeps the power draw way lower.

Just a tiny warning though—make sure u update the firmware immediately via their app or the Bluetooth sync might feel a bit janky at first. I learned that the hard way lol. For under $80, the value is literally insane. Plus they have an IPX5 rating, so gym sweat wont kill em. If ur worried about budget vs performance, these hit that sweet spot perfectly!! gl!

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, those Sony buds are great, but if youre looking for a budget pick, check out the Soundcore Space A40 Adaptive Active Noise Cancelling Earbuds. Theyre usually under $80 and in my experience, they hit that 10-hour mark easily.

- Awesome transparency mode (safety first on hikes!)
- Secure fit for gym stuff
- Really reliable connection

Basically a total steal for the price... gl!

Honestly, before you pull the trigger, I’d think about the "self-service" side of things since you want these to last as long as the phone. Most buds are basically e-waste once the battery degrades, which is a huge bummer if you're planning on keeping them for a long time. I'm not 100% sure if any of the new LE Audio models are actually repairable yet—I think I saw a teardown recently where most are still heavily glued, but IIRC some of the more niche brands are moving toward easier battery access. If you're a DIY enthusiast like me, you might want to look at:
* Checking repairability scores so you aren't forced into a "professional service" replacement in two years.
* Getting 3rd party foam tips for that custom "gym fit" rather than relying on the stock silicone.
* Using apps like Wavelet for manual EQ tweaking to really push those drivers. Basically, you want something you can actually maintain rather than something that's just a black box, right? Tbh, keeping that marathon battery life long-term is the real challenge with these wireless sets lol!!!

Seconding the recommendation above! I'd suggest the Sony WF-C700N Digital Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds if you wanna really leverage that LE Audio. I've used 'em for months and they're basically bulletproof. The battery hits about 8 hours and the connection is sooo stable. Just a heads up tho, definitely update the firmware right away to keep the sync tight for your Netflix sessions... works well for me!
