I just picked up the new Moto G Power (2026) and plan on taking it hiking this summer. I’m worried about drops on rocky trails and screen glare in direct sunlight. Does anyone have recommendations for a rugged case or a specific anti-reflective screen protector? Also, which portable power banks work best for long weekends away?

I went through this last year. I compared Supershieldz Matte Screen Protectors vs glass; matte killed glare by diffusing light but added grain.

For cases, I found UAG Scout Series for Moto G Power (2026) was way lighter than the ones mentioned above. For power, I tested the Nitecore NB10000 Gen 2 against my bulky Anker 737 Power Bank. On long trails, weight was everything for me!! ur back would probably agree tbh

Quick question - how long are ur trails usually? Safety is huge cuz conditions change fast and batteries HATE heat. Basically, u need gear that handles the elements! For those rocky paths, I'd honestly suggest the OtterBox Defender Series Case for Moto G Power (2026) and Mr.Shield Matte Anti-Glare Screen Protector for Moto G Power (2026). Plus, the Nitecore NPB1 5000mAh Waterproof Power Bank is IP68. It's definately saved me in rainstorms before!!

Oh man, I totally feel u!! I've been rocking Moto phones for my trail runs forever and the G Power series is seriously amazing for the battery life alone. For your situation, here's what I recommend based on my own technical setup:

1. **Rugged Protection:** Go with Poetic or Supcase, you seriously can't go wrong. I've highkey dropped my phone on literal jagged rocks and the dual-layer protection saved it every time. Just find any of their "heavy duty" lines with the reinforced corners.
2. **Anti-Glare:** Honestly, just get any matte finish film from a brand like Supershieldz. It basically kills that nasty reflection in direct sunlight, though it might make the screen look a tiny bit grainy, it's sooo worth it for visibility!!
3. **Power:** Just get any high-capacity brick from Anker. Their voltage regulation is basically industry standard. You'll want something with at least 20,000mAh for a long weekend away.

Gl on the trails, the 2026 model is gonna be fantastic out there!! 👍
