I just picked up the new Motorola Razr Plus (2024) and I’m absolutely loving the massive 4-inch external display. It’s definitely the standout feature of the phone, but it also makes me super nervous about scratches or accidental drops. Since the outer screen is almost entirely glass now, I really want to find a high-quality screen protector that doesn't mess with the touch sensitivity or that gorgeous refresh rate.

I’ve been browsing online, but since the 2024 model is still relatively fresh, I’m seeing a lot of generic brands on Amazon and I’m not sure which ones actually fit the unique cutouts for the dual cameras properly. I’m specifically looking for something that won't peel at the edges when I put a case on it. Also, has anyone found a decent solution for the internal folding screen, or is it still recommended to just stick with the factory-installed one for as long as possible? I’ve had bad luck with tempered glass in the past where the edges start lifting after a few days of pocket wear, so I’m really hoping for some tried-and-tested suggestions.

Does anyone have specific brand recommendations that offer a perfect fit for the Razr Plus (2024) external screen without interfering with the hinge or a protective case?

dude i literally just went through this exact same panic last week!! i got my Razr+ and was so terrified of scratching that outer screen that i wouldnt even put it in my pocket lol. i ended up finding a total steal tho. i bought the Motorola+Razr+Plus+2024+%28External+Screen%29+Tempered+Glass&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Supershieldz (2 Pack) Designed for Motorola Razr Plus 2024 (External Screen) Tempered Glass for like $9 and honestly its fantastic!! the refresh rate still feels super smooth and the camera cutouts are spot on. also i totally agree about the inner screen - KEEP THE FACTORY ONE. i tried replacing it on my old 2023 model and it was a total disaster... bubbles everywhere!! basically, just spend the $10 on a glass protector for the outside and leave the inside alone. ur wallet will thank u and the phone stays mint. TL;DR: Stick to the factory internal film but grab the Motorola+Razr+Plus+2024&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Supershieldz Tempered Glass for Motorola Razr Plus 2024 for the outer display for under $10! 👍

yo, congrats on the new Razr+!! ngl that outer display is beautiful but it's lowkey a stress dream waiting to happen... Basically, the technical challenge with the 2024 model is the massive screen-to-body ratio. The tolerances around those camera cutouts are super tight. If the glass is even a fraction off, your case is gonna lift the edges immediately. Honestly, it’s super frustrating and I've already wasted money on generic kits that just wouldnt stay down. For your situation, I'd suggest:
- Stick to brands like Spigen; they actually measure the CNC cutouts properly.
- LEAVE the internal protector alone! That factory film is essential for the screen's durability. But yeah, what kind of case are you using? Does it have a lip that overlaps the screen or is it flush? That basically determines if the glass will peel or not. good luck!!

tbh i totally agree with what LunarLanding said about that internal protector... dont even think about touching it or youll definitely regret it. i was super nervous about the outer glass too but i ended up just going with a kit from Spigen and im really happy with how it turned out. honestly you cant really go wrong with their stuff since they usually focus on reliability and the fit is perfect with my case. i am super satisfied with how clear the screen still looks. just grab whatever they have for the 2024 model and you should be good to go. it definitely makes me feel a lot better about sliding it into my pocket tho... anyway good luck with the setup!!

Whatever you do, dont peel off that factory-installed inner screen protector! It's actually structural, and removing it can kill the OLED pixels—I've seen it happen way too many times over the years. For that outer display:
* Try TPU films instead of glass
* Check brands like Spigen
* Look for 'case-friendly' labels These new foldables have such tight tolerances that even a tiny misalignment will make the edges lift immediately. Be careful!
