Top screen protector recommendations for the Razr 2026's foldable display?

Got the Razr 2026 arriving tomorrow and I'm panicking about the screen. Upgrading from a Z Flip 4 that basically fell apart at the hinge. The screen protector on that one started peeling and eventually the display cracked right at the crease. My main priorities are battery and keeping this thing slim, but I can't afford another $300 repair. Budget for the protector is around $40.

I'm looking at three options right now. First is the Whitestone Dome Silk. People say it's the smoothest but I'm worried about the install. Second is the Supershieldz PET film. It's cheaper, which is nice, but does it actually hold up to folding? Third is the GadgetGuard Flex. It's supposed to be more "self-healing" but I've heard it feels rubbery. I need something that won't lift after two weeks. The Z Flip 4's battery was trash so I’m hoping the Razr lasts longer, but the screen is my immediate stressor. I need to order something today so it's here when the phone lands.

Which of these is the most durable for the 2026's specific hinge design?

Ive been through three of these foldables and ngl they all have the same issues. I tried a cheap film years ago and it was GARBAGE bc it bubbled in two days.

  • My current setup uses a thick film that feels okay but still lifts at the crease.
  • The last one I got lasted six months before it started peeling...
  • Foldables just eat protectors tbh.
