I finally bit the bullet and pre-ordered the Motorola Razr Ultra (2025), and now I am terrified of dropping this thing. Since it is a foldable, I am really worried about the hinge getting scratched or damaged.

I am looking for something that offers solid drop protection but does not add too much bulk to the slim design. I also want to make sure the case does not interfere with the large external screen.

  • Must have hinge protection
  • Slim profile preferred
  • Compatible with wireless charging

I have checked a few brands online, but it is hard to tell which ones actually fit well. Does anyone have any early recommendations or favorite brands for this specific model?

Oh man, I totally feel u. For your situation, I would suggest the Motorola+Razr+Ultra+%282025%29&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Tough Armor Pro for Motorola Razr Ultra (2025). I have tried many cases and this hinge cover is basically a must-have. It's highkey the best balance of safety and wireless charging I've found. Honestly, dont go too slim or you'll definately regret it! Respectfully, Id consider another approach before you just buy whatever has the biggest hinge. I've used foldables for years and seen way too many people regret those bulky covers. In my experience, those rigid hinge mechanisms can actually trap grit and sand, which ends up grinding against the spine every time you open it. Kinda the opposite+of+safety&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">opposite of safety, right? Before you commit, I have a couple of questions to help narrow it down:

  • Are you mostly worried about high-velocity drops on concrete, or is this more about preventing surface scratches in your pocket?
  • Does your daily routine involve dusty environments where a moving hinge cover might actually do more harm than good? Honestly, I've found that some brands over-engineer the protection while sacrificing the actual longevity of the folding parts. Sometimes less is more for long-term reliability. Just my two cents after breaking a few of these over the years... peace
