Hey everyone, I just finally pulled the trigger on the new Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 and I am absolutely loving the sleek design so far. However, as much as I adore the folding screen, I am honestly a bit terrified of scratching that inner display or getting a crack on the huge outer screen. We all know how expensive these repairs can get for foldables, so I want to get protected right away.
I have been looking around online, but it is a bit confusing since some protectors are just cheap film while others claim to be self-healing. I am specifically looking for something that does not interfere with the hinge mechanism or cause that annoying bubbling at the crease after a few weeks of folding and unfolding. For the outer screen, I am wondering if a tempered glass protector is better for impact protection, or if I should stick to a flexible TPU to keep the profile slim.
Has anyone here tried any specific brands like Spigen, Whitestone, or maybe some others that actually fit the 2025 model perfectly? I really want something that maintains the touch sensitivity and does not make the vibrant screen look dull or plasticky.
What are your top recommendations for a durable screen protector setup that covers both the inner and outer displays without peeling off?
I would suggest these for a solid setup:
Jumping in here... honestly, I went through a realy frustrating time trying to find the right fit. I was so worried about the screen that I bought three different brands in two weeks. Unfortunately, the cheap ones I got first were a total waste of money and basically ruined the look of the phone. Here is what I ended up trying:
For your situation, i definitely suggest getting a combo of tempered glass for the outside and a flexible film for the inside. i totally get the anxiety cuz these things arent exactly cheap to fix if u mess up the display. i've been using my 2025 razr ultra for a bit now and i'm reallyyy happy with the setup i found. basically, u want to treat the two screens differently cuz they handle different types of stress... here is what i recommend based on my experience:
