I just got the new OnePlus Nord 4 and I’m looking for some affordable earbuds to match. I’m hoping to find something under $50 that has decent battery life and integrates well with OxygenOS features. Does anyone have recommendations for budget pairs that offer a stable connection and good sound quality for this specific phone?

Saw this earlier but just now responding. Honestly, I've wasted so much cash on generic buds that unfortunately weren't as good as expected. For your Nord 4, just grab the OnePlus+Nord+Buds+2&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Nord Buds 2. They're under $50 and integrate with OxygenOS Fast Pair properly. Lesson learned: dont bother with off-brand stuff if you want stable firmware and low latency. Stick to first-party gear for the best experience. gl!

For Nord 4, grab Soundcore by Anker P20i True Wireless Earbuds. Quick question: do you kinda need specific hearing safety features like volume limiting? It matters if youre listening for hours. gl!

  • I totally get the struggle. Over the years, I've seen how first-party integration can feel like a bit of a trap. While OxygenOS features are nice for convenience, you're often paying for software hooks rather than actual driver quality. In my experience, if you want the best frequency response and technical performance for under $50, the Moondrop Space Travel is pretty hard to beat. It uses a 13mm titanium-enhanced driver and the tuning is way more balanced than the typical budget stuff. If you need something with better ANC and multipoint support, the EarFun Air Pro 3 is technically superior to the Nord Buds 2, especially since it supports LC3 and aptX Adaptive codecs. You dont really miss out on much once the initial pairing is done. Just grab the dedicated app for whatever you buy to handle firmware updates. Honestly, the hardware gains usually outweigh the few seconds you save with Fast Pair anyway... it's just better value for your money.

Just saw this and honestly reliability is HUGE when ur talking about budget gear because half the stuff on Amazon is basically junk that stops charging after two weeks. Before I suggest a specific direction though I gotta ask what kind of environment are you actually using these in because if ur commuting on a loud train you need way better seal and build quality than if ur just sitting at a desk and that totally changes what brand I would point you toward. If you want something that isnt going to flake out on you I would definitely look into anything from the CMF by Nothing line or maybe some realme stuff because they usually have decent app support and the connection stability is actually SOLID for the price. Just stick with those bigger ecosystem brands because they actually push firmware updates that wont break ur phone connection like those random cheap off-brand ones you see everywhere and they usually have better battery protection circuits which is a massive safety thing people ignore.

ngl I have this exact same issue right now. I've been looking for weeks and I'm honestly so torn between sticking to the official stuff versus trying some of those other big budget brands you see everywhere. It's frustrating because I really want those OxygenOS features to work natively but every time I compare the brands it feels like I'm sacrificing either sound or battery life just to save a few bucks. I still havent found anything that feels like a safe bet so I'm basically just stuck waiting for more info too...
