Looking for a good car mount for my OnePlus 13! Anyone have recommendations that work well? Budget's around $30.

The best car phone mounts in 2025 are from Qifutan, Lamicall, iOttie, Miracase, and VANMASS based on our testing experience. I personally went with the Qifutan mount since it's our top pick thanks to the multiple mounting options, as well as the device and vehicle compatibility. At a low cost, this phone holder comes with a suction cup and vent clip for mounting on your windshield, dashboard, and air vent depending on your preference. Super versatile and works great in my 2023 sedan.

I've been through a literal drawer full of mounts since the OnePlus 6 days and the weight distribution on these newer flagships is a whole different beast. The OP13 is heavy, and that massive camera bump shifts the center of gravity higher than youd expect. I tried the magnetic route before but found the plates messed with my wireless charging alignment too much. Over the years, I moved toward heavy-duty dashboard clamps instead of the windshield ones that always vibrate. I'm currently using the VICSEED Ultra Stable Car Phone Mount for Dashboard and it is really solid. The tech behind the suction cup is actually pretty interesting... basically it uses a two-step vacuum lock that holds up way better during temperature swings. In my experience, those cheaper $10 ones use a basic adhesive that just melts when the car sits in the sun, but this one uses a thicker synthetic gel. It has survived three summers so far without budging. Just make sure you mount it on a flat-ish part of the dash tho, otherwise the vacuum seal wont be perfect.

TL;DR: Avoid vent clips for a phone this heavy. Stick to a dashboard mount with a stabilizing arm to save your vents and protect the camera OIS. Honestly, after years of upgrading OnePlus phones, the biggest mistake people make is ignoring the WEIGHT. The OnePlus 13 is a heavy device, and cheap vent clips WILL sag or eventually snap your air vent blades. It is basically a physics problem. Also, keep in mind that if you use a vent mount in the winter, the heater will blow directly on the phone, which is TERRIBLE for the battery health and will slow down your charging speeds significantly. A few expert tips to consider for the long haul:

  • Vibration dampening: High-frequency road vibration can actually damage the OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) in the camera over time. Look for mounts with rubberized contact points.
  • Button clearance: Make sure the mounting arms dont squeeze the power or volume buttons, as the 13 has a specific layout that some generic mounts interfere with.
  • Surface prep: If you go with a dash suction mount, use a primer pad. Idk how many times Ive seen mounts fly off because of textured dashboards. Basically, dont cheap out too much on the mount when youre protecting such an expensive piece of tech.

I use VANMASS car mount for years. Works well and no issues.

Consider Scosche MagicMount Pro. Magnetic interference shouldn't affect OnePlus 13's NFC; verified with a gauss meter. Installation: clean surface with 91% isopropyl alcohol first.

For OnePlus 13, skip the generic brands. I've tried many. Scosche mounts offer solid value around $25. Better long-term durability, in my experience.
