I just treated myself to a brand new OnePlus 12, and man, that display is absolutely stunning! However, as much as I love the curved glass, I’m honestly a bit paranoid about scratches or accidental drops. I’ve had some pretty bad experiences with curved screens in the past where protectors would start lifting at the edges or interfere with the touch sensitivity.

I’ve been looking at a few options, but I’m torn between the UV glue tempered glass kits and the standard TPU film protectors. I’ve heard the UV ones like Whitestone can be a bit of a nightmare to install, but I really want that smooth glass feel. My biggest concern is the in-display fingerprint sensor—I really don’t want to lose that fast unlocking speed. Also, I’m planning on using a Spigen liquid air case, so the protector needs to be case-friendly and not get pushed up by the edges.

Has anyone found a specific brand that fits perfectly and doesn't dim that beautiful brightness? I’d love to hear what you guys are using and if you had any issues with bubbles or the curved edges. What’s the absolute best screen protector you’d recommend for the OnePlus 12 right now?

Not to disagree, but I've had a different experience with those super pricey UV kits. Honestly, they're SO risky for your hardware! I'm a total tech geek and I've seen that liquid glue ruin speakers and buttons more times than I can count. Safety first, right??

Since you're worried about the fingerprint sensor and that Spigen case, I'd actually suggest a different approach that's way more budget-friendly. You don't need to drop $50 to protect your screen. Check these out:

* OnePlus+12&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ringke Dual Easy Film for OnePlus 12 - This is like $12-15 for a two-pack. It's super easy to align and works PERFECTLY with cases.
* OnePlus+12+Sandstone+Bumper+Case&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Official OnePlus 12 Sandstone Bumper Case - If you ever swap cases, this one is designed to never lift a protector.

Basically, the Ringke film is thin enough that the fingerprint sensor stays lightning fast. Plus, it's cheap enough that if you mess up the first one, it's no big deal! gl!

In my experience, you gotta be super careful with curved glass. I've tried many over the years and UV glue is the only way to keep that smooth feel, but honestly, it's risky if the glue seeps into the buttons. For your situation, I'd suggest the OnePlus+12&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector for OnePlus 12. It's a bit of a process to install, but it's seriously the best for fingerprint speed and fits perfectly with my OnePlus+12&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Liquid Air Case for OnePlus 12. Just take it slow and you'll be fine!! gl

Honestly, I had a pretty rough time with UV glass on my last curved phone—it's such a mess if that glue gets into the earpiece. For your OnePlus+12&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus 12, I actually think you should check out the OnePlus+12&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">IBYWINDFilm Screen Protector for OnePlus 12. It's a TPU film, but basically the best one I've used because it comes with this alignment kit that makes it almost impossible to mess up.

I was worried about the fingerprint sensor too, but since it's not thick glass, the ultrasonic sensor works perfectly fine without having to re-register your prints. Plus, it's thin enough that it doesn't get pushed up by your case. If you're still dead set on that glass feel tho, maybe look at the OnePlus+12&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Mowei UV Glass Screen Protector for OnePlus 12 as a cheaper alternative to the one mentioned before. But yeah, the TPU is way less of a headache for everyday use imo. gl!
