Hey everyone! I finally pulled the trigger and upgraded to the OnePlus 11 recently, and I’m absolutely loving the speed and that vibrant display. However, my trusty old earbuds are starting to give up on me—the battery barely lasts an hour and the connection keeps dropping when I’m out for a walk.

I really want to find a pair that takes full advantage of the OnePlus 11’s hardware. I’ve been looking closely at the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 because I heard they support the LHDC 5.0 codec and spatial audio specifically for this device, which sounds like a great ecosystem perk. That said, I’m also eyeing the Sony WF-1000XM5 or the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless series because audio fidelity is a huge deal for me. I spend a lot of time on public transit, so top-tier Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a comfortable fit for long listening sessions are my main priorities.

I’m a bit torn on whether the seamless integration and fast pairing of the OnePlus buds are worth it, or if I should go with a different brand for potentially better sound stages. For those of you using the OnePlus 11, what are you currently pairing it with, and how is the latency and battery performance? Are there any specific earbuds that you think offer the best overall experience for this phone?

Stumbled upon this today... Quick question, what's ur actual budget? Before I give advice, keep in mind that the OnePlus+Buds+Pro+2&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds Pro 2 offers a solid value-to-performance ratio because it unlocks LHDC without the premium Sony price. If ur looking to save, honestly, the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC is a steal for ANC, though you'll miss that seamless pairing. Knowing ur price range helps narrow it down! Cheers

This^ Also wanted to add that if ur looking at the budget side, OnePlus+Buds+3&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds 3 are a total steal for $99:

- Supports LHDC 5.0 on your OP11
- Advanced battery protection for safety
- Reliable IP55 rating

Ngl, you basically get the core ecosystem perks for half the price. It's a safer bet for long-term battery health too. Worth a look! 👍

Respectfully, I'd consider another option. Just catching up on the thread and ngl, while the ecosystem integration is cool, focusing strictly on "synergy" might limit ur actual sound quality. I've used both the OnePlus+Buds+Pro+2&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds Pro 2 and the Sony WF-1000XM5 with my OP11, and honestly? The Sony set is just on another level for public transit.

Basically, the OP11 handles LDAC perfectly, and the XM5s have way better passive isolation and ANC. LHDC 5.0 is nice on paper, but LDAC is more industry-standard and reliable for high-res audio in my experience. If ur really into fidelity, the soundstage on the Sennheiser+Momentum+True+Wireless+4&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 is actually much wider too. Spatial audio is kinda a gimmick... focus on the actual drivers and noise floor. Trust me, ur ears will thank u! gl

Honestly, I've gone down a total rabbit hole with the DIY side of audio lately. Instead of just sending stuff back for professional service when the sound feels "off," I've been focusing on brands that let you really dig into the calibration yourself. It’s a game changer when you stop relying on the "out of the box" experience, you know? - Go with any of the flagship Jabra options. Their software suite is basically the best for self-service tuning and they actually provide decent documentation for troubleshooting.
- Stick with a brand like Bose if you’re strictly about that silence on the bus. You can’t go wrong with their isolation tech for public transit, honestly.
- Look for companies that sell replacement parts directly to consumers. It saves so much money in the long run compared to just buying a new pair every time a battery dips. I’ve found that using third-party apps to manually calibrate my OP11 output has been way more effective than any "ecosystem" feature. Tbh, being an enthusiast is all about taking control of the hardware urself rather than just letting the manufacturer decide how ur music should sound!

In my experience, sticking with the ecosystem is the most reliable path for hardware synergy. tbh I've tried many flagship sets and OnePlus+Buds+Pro+2&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is basically the only way to ensure LHDC 5.0 and spatial audio work flawlessly on that device.

- OnePlus+Buds+Pro+2&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds Pro 2: best integration and latency.
- Sony WF-1000XM5: superior ANC, but watch for fit issues...

Go with the native buds for the safest, most consistent experience!!
