Best wireless earbuds to pair with the OnePlus Nord 4?

I just recently picked up the new OnePlus Nord 4, and I’m absolutely loving the sleek metal design and how snappy OxygenOS feels. However, since there’s no headphone jack, I’m finally looking to upgrade my audio setup. I want something that really takes advantage of being in the OnePlus ecosystem, but I’m also open to other brands if the performance and connectivity are significantly better.

I’m mainly looking for a pair that supports LHDC or at least high-res audio codecs, as I tend to stream a lot of lossless music. Battery life is also a huge factor for me because I have a long daily commute, and I’d love something with solid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to drown out the background noise on the train. I’ve been looking at the OnePlus Buds 3 since they seem like a natural fit, but I’m wondering if it’s worth stepping up to the Pro series or if I should consider something like the Nothing Ear or even Sony’s mid-range options. Does the 'Fast Pair' feature and the low-latency gaming mode on the Nord 4 work significantly better with first-party buds?

For those of you already rocking the Nord 4, what earbuds are you currently using, and would you recommend them for someone who values a mix of punchy sound quality and seamless connectivity?

Yo, congrats on the Nord 4! Honestly, if you want that seamless "ecosystem" feel, sticking with OnePlus is definitely the way to go. I've been using their gear for years and the integration with OxygenOS is literally so much better than faffing around with third-party apps. Here's what I'd suggest for your commute: 1. OnePlus+Buds+Pro+2&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds Pro 2 - These are your best bet for high-res LHDC 5.0 support and the ANC is actually solid enough to drown out a noisy train.
2. OnePlus+Buds+3&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds 3 - Basically the best value option. They still support LHDC and you get that sweet dual-driver setup for punchy bass.
3. Nothing Ear - If you wanna stray, these sound great but you might lose that ultra-low latency gaming mode integration. Basically, first-party buds give you that instant Fast Pair and better latency without extra bloatware. Just make sure to enable the high-res mode in the Bluetooth settings... anyway, gl! 👍

+1 to what was said earlier! dont waste cash on the Pro series... i mean, i had issues with expensive ones dying early which was sooo annoying. OnePlus+Buds+3&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds 3 vs OnePlus+Buds+Pro+2&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds Pro 2:
- Buds 3: Cheaper, same LHDC, safer for ur wallet.
- Pro 2: High price, similar features. Basically, the 3 is the smarter pick for ur Nord 4. TL;DR: Go with OnePlus+Buds+3&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds 3 for better value!!

I've used OnePlus+for+years+but+I&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus for years but I'm no expert. Warning: dont waste cash on flagship buds! Standard ones are better value and connect so much better... lesson learned!

Quick reply while I have a sec. Honestly, I had a pretty disappointing experience with the expensive flagship buds recently. I spent a fortune thinking they'd be perfect, but the battery life just tanked after six months of commuting... super frustrating when you're stuck on a train with dead pods. It felt like a total waste of money tbh. Since you want LHDC on a budget, I actually ended up going the DIY route and looking at brands that share tech with OnePlus. I've been using the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro and they are kind of a hidden gem for Nord users. Since they are from the same parent company, you get that high-res LHDC 5.0 support and the dual drivers sound surprisingly punchy for the price. Another cheap option I tried was the EarFun Air Pro 3, which has decent ANC for the price, though you lose the LHDC. Before you pull the trigger though, how much are you actually looking to spend? If you're trying to stay under a specific limit, there might be even better value picks out there that don't have the OnePlus markup.

Yo, honestly that metal finish on the Nord 4 is sooo clean, good pick!! For your situation, I would suggest going with the OnePlus+Buds+3&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds 3 because they hit that sweet spot of price and features without needing the "Pro" price tag. I've been messing around with OnePlus+gear+for+years+now&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus gear for years now, and while I'm still learning all the nitty-gritty specs of the newer audio codecs, the integration is legit. Having the settings built right into the OxygenOS menu is just way more convenient than faffing with extra apps, ya know? Here is the technical breakdown based on what I've tried: - OnePlus+Buds+3&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds 3: Honestly, these are the best bang-for-your-buck right now. You can usually snag them for around $79.99. They support LHDC 5.0, which is exactly what you need for your lossless music. The ANC is surprisingly decent for the train too!
- Soundcore Liberty 4 NC: If you arent 100% dead set on the ecosystem, these are usually $99 but go on sale for $70 all the time. The ANC is LITERALLY top-tier for this price. They use LDAC, which the Nord 4 supports perfectly.
- OnePlus+Buds+Pro+2&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds Pro 2: I mean... only step up if you find them on a deep discount (look for under $120). They have Dynaudio tuning which sounds great, but for a daily commute, the standard Buds 3 are probably enough?? I know the Nothing Ear was mentioned already, and they're cool, but sticking with the Buds 3 keeps your budget low while keeping that "Fast Pair" and low-latency gaming mode totally seamless. Good luck! 👍
