Man I just picked up the OnePlus 12 in Flowy Emerald and I am absolutely obsessed with how fast this thing charges up. I came from an old iPhone 12 so being able to top off in like 30 minutes feels like magic to be honest. I want to make sure I have everything I need to keep that speed everywhere I go because once you taste 80W or 100W charging you literally cant go back to regular USB bricks.
I spent all last night looking at chargers on Amazon but I am getting so many mixed signals. I saw some people saying that even if a brick says 100W PD it wont actually charge the OnePlus at full speed because of the proprietary SuperVOOC tech? Like apparently it falls back to 18W or something slow if it isnt the right protocol. Then I saw the official 50W wireless stand which looks sick but some reviews say it gets really loud with the fan or that it doesnt work with certain cases and that has me second guessing things. I am kinda lost on whether I HAVE to stick with official OnePlus branded stuff or if there are actually reputable third party cables and bricks that wont throttle the speed down to like 15W.
Here is what I am looking for specifically:
I also heard that Oppo accessories might work since they use the same tech? If anyone has tried those or found a specific brand of cables that actually triggers the ultra fast charging animation please let me know. I just dont want to buy a bunch of junk that ends up being slow as dirt for this specific phone...
> A longer cable like 6ft or more Unfortunately, generic long cables were not as good as expected because they lack the proprietary pins. I had issues until finding the <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= Oppo+SuperVOOC+10A+2m+Cable&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Oppo SuperVOOC 10A 2m Cable on Reddit. It actually works.

Congrats on the phone! That emerald color is definitely the best choice. To be honest, you really do have to stick with the proprietary stuff for the full speed. Standard PD chargers just wont cut it for SuperVOOC. For the car, I use the <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= OnePlus+SuperVOOC+80W+Car+Charger&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus SuperVOOC 80W Car Charger and it keeps up even with GPS and music going full blast. It is a lifesaver on commutes. For the office, look at the <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= OnePlus+SuperVOOC+100W+Dual+Port+Power+Adapter&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus SuperVOOC 100W Dual Port Power Adapter. It is nice because the second port can charge other stuff too. About the cable length... the standard red ones are short but you can grab the <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= OnePlus+SUPERVOOC+Type-C+to+Type-C+Cable+2m&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus SUPERVOOC Type-C to Type-C Cable 2m which is like 6.5 feet. It is way more comfortable for bed usage. Oppo stuff works perfectly too since they are basically the same company, so if you find a deal on an <a href=" https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw= Oppo+SuperVOOC+80W+Power+Adapter&_sacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p4624852.m570.l1311&mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337998953&customid=22&toolid=10001&mkevt=1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Oppo SuperVOOC 80W Power Adapter just go for it.
