So I finally grabbed the OnePlus Nord 4 for my big Japan trip next month and man this metal unibody is slick but it's giving me some weird anxiety about what to pack for it. Ive been using OnePlus for years now but this is the first time I've felt like my old accessories might not cut it. Like normally I just throw on any old clear case but with the metal back on this thing I'm worried about heat or signal interference when I'm out in Tokyo trying to find my way around with Google Maps all day. I have about $120 left in my budget for some travel essentials. I really need a power bank that actually supports the fast charging speeds because waiting two hours for a charge while I'm trying to see the sights is just not gonna happen. Does anyone know of a portable charger that actually works well with the Nord 4's proprietary charging? Also looking for a slim case that wont hide the cool metal design too much but provides decent drop protection for a clumsy traveler like me. Are there any specific screen protectors that dont mess with the fingerprint sensor on this specific model? Id hate to be fumbling with that at the airport security line...

In my experience traveling through places like Tokyo, heat management is actually your biggest enemy with that metal unibody. I once used a generic case and my phone throttled so hard while using Google Maps in the humidity. If you want protection without hiding the finish, I've had great luck with the OnePlus+Nord+4&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ringke Fusion Case for OnePlus Nord 4. It uses clear polycarbonate that doesn't yellow as fast as silicone and the TPU bumpers are solid for drops. About the charging... SuperVOOC is tricky because it's proprietary. I've tested the Anker 737 Power Bank 24000mAh and while it's a beast for PD devices, it won't hit those triple-digit speeds on a Nord. It usually settles for around 18W because the handshake is different. If you can't find the official OnePlus+bank&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus bank, some folks on the OnePlus+community+forums+men&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus community forums mention the Baseus Blade 100W Laptop Power Bank handles PPS charging well enough for a decent top-up. • Unfortunately, I had issues with generic banks not hitting full speeds. Stick to the OnePlus+SuperVOOC+100W+Dual+Port+Power+Bank+12000mAh&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus SuperVOOC 100W Dual Port Power Bank 12000mAh.

Unfortunately, generic PD banks wont handshake with proprietary VOOC protocols. I wasted money on bricks that only hit 10W.
