I just picked up the OnePlus Nord CE 5 and I’m really impressed with the display so far, but I’m terrified of getting that first scratch. I've been browsing online, but it's tough to tell which brands actually offer a precise fit. I’m specifically looking for a tempered glass option that is case-friendly, as my current bumper case has a bit of a lip. My main concern is the in-display fingerprint sensor—I really don't want a protector that makes it sluggish or unresponsive. Has anyone found a reliable, top-rated brand that doesn't leave those annoying bubbles around the edges? What are you guys using to keep your screens in mint condition?
In my experience, Spigen AlignMaster beats Orzly Glass Protector for that phone. Spigen is basically case-friendly, but Orzly unfortunately made my sensor realy sluggish... wasnt as good as expected ngl!!
yo, I totally get being terrified of that first scratch on a new phone. Stumbled upon this discussion and had to chime in because I just went through the same search. > What are you guys using to keep your screens in mint condition? For your situation, I would suggest the OnePlus+Nord+CE+5+2-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass Screen Protector for OnePlus Nord CE 5 2-Pack. I picked it up for about $10.99, and honestly, it’s been great. It comes with a plastic alignment frame, so I didn't get any of those annoying bubbles around the edges. Basically, the fingerprint sensor is still snappy, though I did have to re-scan my thumbs after applying it! If you wanna save even more, the OnePlus+Nord+CE+5&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">IBYWIND Tempered Glass Screen Protector for OnePlus Nord CE 5 is usually around $11 and comes with two protectors plus a camera lens cover. Both are super case-friendly and haven't lifted at all with my bulky bumper. Happy hunting!!
Yo, I'd actually suggest a different approach here cuz I think some of the 'premium' brands are totally overpriced for what you actually get!! Everyone goes for Spigen but honestly... ur just paying for the plastic alignment tool. If you want the best bang for your buck without sacrificing that 9H hardness, I highkey recommend the OnePlus+Nord+CE+5&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">amFilm 3-Pack Tempered Glass Screen Protector for OnePlus Nord CE 5. The technical reason why the fingerprint sensor fails is usually due to the thickness of the adhesive layer causing light refraction, but amFilm uses a super-thin 0.33mm glass that keeps the optical sensor lightning fast. Basically, its wayyy more cost-effective since you get three in a pack for like half the price of the big brands. If you mess up the first install or get a scratch later, you've got backups! Just make sure to re-register your fingerprints AFTER you apply the glass... that's the pro tip for keeping it responsive lol. Plus its totally case-friendly with that slight edge gap so it wont lift!! gl dude
100% agree
Saw this earlier but just getting around to posting. Honestly, I’ve been through the ringer with screen protectors over the years and it’s usually the big brands that let me down. I tried a OnePlus+Nord+CE+5&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ringke Dual Easy Film for OnePlus Nord CE 5 recently and it was such a letdown. The application was a mess and the edges kept lifting with my case, so it felt like a total waste of money. I’ve had much better luck going the budget route lately. I ended up picking up a OnePlus+Nord+CE+5+Pack+of+2&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ibywind Tempered Glass for OnePlus Nord CE 5 Pack of 2 for way less than the premium stuff. It’s got a solid alignment tool and the fingerprint sensor hasnt given me any grief at all. Its kinda crazy how the cheaper kits often include better extras like back skins too... definitely dont feel like you have to drop a lot of cash to get a precise fit.
