I just finally upgraded to the OnePlus 12 in that stunning Flowy Emerald, and man, this phone is a beast! But as much as I love the design, it feels incredibly slippery in my hand. I’m honestly terrified of dropping it and cracking that beautiful curved display or scratching the massive circular camera module.

I’ve been looking around at some options online, but it’s hard to tell what’s actually worth the money. I’m looking for something that offers solid drop protection without turning the phone into a total brick. Ideally, the case should have a decent raised lip around the camera island since it sticks out so much. Also, it’s really important to me that the case doesn't interfere with the 50W wireless charging—I’d hate to lose that convenience just for a bit of extra plastic!

I’ve seen some brands like Spigen and UAG mentioned, and of course the official sandstone ones from OnePlus, but I wanted to get some real-world feedback from you guys. Do the clear cases yellow quickly? Does anyone have experience with a brand that balances grip and slimness well?

What are the best protective cases you’ve found for the OnePlus 12 so far that strike that perfect balance between style and safety?

Quick question—are u mostly worried about drops on concrete or just scratches from daily use?? Honestly, I think some cases claim to be safe but the camera lip is highkey thin sometimes. Not 100% sure if the bulkier UAG ones mess with that 50W charging tho... iirc some thick plastic can reallyyy slow it down. Just wanna be sure before I suggest anything too heavy duty!

I've tested a few and OnePlus+12&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Liquid Air for OnePlus 12 is usually the best bet for keeping costs low. It provides a decent amount of grip and doesnt interfere with the high-speed wireless charging. If you're more worried about the camera module, OnePlus+12&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ringke Fusion-X for OnePlus 12 has a much deeper lip around the lens and reinforced corners for roughly the same price. I was actually going through some old storage bins earlier and found my original OnePlus One with that first sandstone back. It's wild how much the size of these things has increased over the years... I still have a pile of old micro-USB cables and chargers that I probably should have gotten rid of years ago. My garage is basically a museum for dead tech at this point. Anyway, those two brands are probably your best options if you dont want to spend a fortune on the official stuff.

hey, i feel u on the emerald color, its literally so pretty but seriously, the phone is like a wet bar of soap lol. i was actually terrified of dropping mine too because of that curved glass... in my experience, i basically tried 3 different styles before i felt safe. here is how they compared for me:
- the official sandstone one: basically the best grip you can get, but i worry it wont actually protect the screen during a real drop.
- a clear bulky one: highkey showed off the green but it felt like a brick and started looking yellowish fast. idk if any of them stay clear??
- my current setup: a matte rugged case from a brand like spigen. it has a huge lip for the camera and doesnt mess with my wireless charger at all! tbh, i think going for something with 'heft' is better for peace of mind. better safe than sorry right?? id definitely go for protection over style... hope this helps and gl!
