I’m super excited to finally get my hands on the OnePlus 13, but man, I’m already nervous about keeping that massive camera setup and sleek glass back safe! It’s such a gorgeous device, and the last thing I want is to see a crack on day one. I’ve traditionally been a big fan of the official Sandstone cases because of that iconic texture, but I’m worried they might not offer enough drop protection for a phone this heavy and premium.
I’m looking for something that hits that 'sweet spot'—tough enough to survive an accidental drop on pavement, but not so bulky that it ruins the ergonomics of the phone. I’m particularly interested in two things: first, are there any cases that include magnetic rings for MagSafe-style accessory compatibility? And second, I need something with a significant raised lip to protect that huge circular camera module, as it seems like a magnet for scratches. I’ve looked at some generic brands online, but I’d rather invest in something tried and tested.
Are you planning to stick with the first-party OnePlus cases, or have you found any rugged third-party brands like Spigen, UAG, or Dbrand that are already launching reliable options? What are the best protective cases you’ve seen so far that don't sacrifice too much style?

Basically, it feels like the third-party brands are finally taking OnePlus seriously for magnetic accessories. I looked at the official ones too, but they're usually just too thin for real-world drops, honestly. I've been leaning towards the dbrand Grip Case because it hits that middle ground. It's got the magnetic ring built-in and the camera lip is huge, which is what you wanted. If you're looking for something more budget-friendly but still rugged, the Poetic Guardian Series is usually a safe bet. I think? they've added the magnetic ring to their OP13 lineup too. The Dbrand is great for that Sandstone-adjacent feel, while the Poetic is more of a clear-back vibe. I’m not 100% sure which one has the absolute best magnet strength, but both brands are way more reliable than those random generic ones you see on Amazon. Just depends on how much you wanna spend on protection vs style tho.
