I just pre-ordered the OnePlus 13 and I'm honestly a bit nervous about that massive new camera array getting scratched. Since the phone is so sleek and powerful, I want something that offers solid drop protection without turning it into a bulky brick. I've looked at the official Kevlar cases, but I'm curious if brands like Spigen or UAG have released their lineups yet. I'm mainly looking for a balance between a slim profile and raised edges for the screen and lenses. Does anyone have early recommendations or brands they swear by for OnePlus launches? What are the best protective cases you've found so far that actually fit well?

Story time: I went through this last year with my last upgrade and honestly, I was sooo stressed about the camera bump. I found that I reallyyy love the OnePlus+13&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">TUDIA DualShield Grip for OnePlus 13 because it's super cheap but feels like a tank. It's kinda thicker than the OnePlus+13&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Caseology Athlex for OnePlus 13, which is another solid budget pick that's literally just as grippy. Both are fantastic if you wanna save cash compared to official cases!! peace

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, Spigen is usually the safest bet for day one. If you're looking for something more budget-friendly tho, you might want to consider the OnePlus+13&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ringke Onyx Case for OnePlus 13.

It's usually around $15, which is a steal. It has this textured grip that's seriously grippy so you won't drop it. Plus, the raised bezel for that huge camera lens looks solid. Be careful with some of the super cheap $5 generic ones though, cuz the cutouts for the alert slider can be kinda janky sometimes. I'd stick with brands like Poetic Neon Series Case if you want more bulk for less cash. 👍

yo, late to the party but I gotta chime in cuz I've been a OnePlus+fanboy+since+the+3T&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus fanboy since the 3T days!! honestly, I totally get the anxiety about that camera array. it's MASSIVE and basically a magnet for scratches if you aren't careful. For your situation, if you want safety first without the bulk, you gotta look at the OnePlus+13&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">UAG Pathfinder Series for OnePlus 13.

I've used UAG for years and their drop protection is literally insane, but the Pathfinder stays surprisingly slim. Also, if you want something that looks a bit more 'pro', here's what I recommend:

* OnePlus+13&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Nillkin CamShield Pro Case for OnePlus 13 - This is the goat for camera safety cuz it has a physical sliding cover for the lenses. No scratches ever!
* OnePlus+13&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Supcase Unicorn Beetle Style for OnePlus 13 - It has a clear back so you can actually see the phone, but the TPU bumper is super reinforced for drops.

Basically, dont just trust any slim case. You reallyyy want something with at least a 2mm lift around that camera bump. idk but I think the Nillkin is your best bet if you're truly stressed about the glass. gl with the new beast! 👍

Ok so, in my experience with flagship launches, I would suggest looking at the OnePlus+13&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Liquid Air for OnePlus 13. I've used their Liquid Air line for years cuz it has that perfect balance—military-grade drop protection but stays SUPER slim. Basically, it has those precise 1.5mm raised edges you need for that massive camera array.

Two quick tips:
* Check out the OnePlus+13&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">UAG Plasma Series for OnePlus 13 if you want more rugged corners without the brick feel.
* Always verify if the case has a 'lay-on-the-table' design for both the screen and lenses.

Ngl, the Spigen grip is honestly the best for preventing drops in the first place. gl!

Honestly, I'm always SO paranoid when a new flagship drops. Since the OP13 is such a beast, I’ve been thinking back to my past DIY disasters. Last time, I tried to be clever and do my own protection setup instead of just buying a heavy case because I wanted to keep the phone feeling thin. It basically went like this:
- I tried applying those individual tiny lens protectors myself and it was a nightmare... got dust under the glass instantly.
- I used a wrap for the back to stop scratches but then the phone slipped on concrete and the wrap did literally nothing for the impact.
- I learned that I realy prefer setups where I can easily swap out modular parts if they get scuffed up without needing a professional repair. It's a bit wierd, but I'm basically looking for something where the lens protection is part of the frame so I don't have to glue anything on. Still haven't fully decided on my current setup for this one yet, idk. I just want to make sure I can fix or replace the protection parts myself if I mess them up tbh.
