I just got this oneplus 13 thing and its so slippery I already almost dropped it twice today. I spent all my savings on this phone so if it breaks im gonna lose it. I went on amazon and there are like millions of cases and I have no idea what any of the words mean like what even is a hybrid shell??

I just need something that keeps it from cracking if it hits the floor. Im in the US and only have about 25 bucks left to spend on this. Sorry if this is a really stupid thing to ask but I'm totally lost with all these options. What are the best protective cases for the oneplus 13 that wont break my bank?

Honestly, feeling your pain here. I went through a massive research phase after my last phone screen shattered while inside a supposedly rugged case. Unfortunately, a lot of those cheap brands use low-density TPU that doesn't actually dissipate energy during a fall. Found out the hard way that if the material is too soft, the kinetic energy from the impact just travels straight through to the glass. Its super frustrating how many companies claim military-grade protection when the reality is far more disappointing. Spent way too much time looking at shore durometer ratings and impact physics because I was so paranoid about my own gear. Basically, you need air-cushion tech in the corners-little pockets of air that compress so your phone doesn't have to. Having issues with single-layer cases stretching out after a few months is common, which is a total letdown since a loose case is basically useless. Since you only have 25 bucks left, check out the TUDIA DualShield Grip for OnePlus 13. It uses a dual-layer setup with a hard outer shell over a shock-absorbing inner layer. It is been my go-to for reliability without spending a fortune. Another solid pick is the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro for OnePlus 13. The aesthetics are kinda hit or miss, but the actual data on their drop tests is legit. Staying with dual-layer is your best bet for keeping that glass intact. Dont worry about asking questions tho, we all gotta start somewhere when it comes to protecting these expensive glass bricks!

Ive been using OnePlus for years and they are always super slippery! A solid TPU and PC combo—basically that hybrid shell you mentioned—is vital. Here is what I love for protection:

I have been using OnePlus phones since the 3T and the glass backs just keep getting more fragile every year. I learned my lesson the hard way with my old 7 Pro... dropped it on the driveway and it shattered instantly because I was using a flimsy aesthetic case. If you are down to your last 25 bucks, you really need to be careful with those generic brands that look pretty but have zero shock absorption. I would suggest looking at Poetic Revolution Series Case for OnePlus 13 since it usually includes a built-in screen protector to save you extra cash. Another solid bet is the Caseology Athlex for OnePlus 13 because it has a sandpaper-like texture that makes it hard to drop. Quick tip tho: take the case off once a week to blow out any dust. Tiny grains of sand get trapped inside and will scratch your phones frame if they sit there.

I think a hybrid shell is a combination of a hard exterior and a soft inner layer. Not entirely sure, but I have heard they offer superior impact protection. You should focus on these specific safety features:

 • Deep ridges for better grip
 • Thick bumpers on all corners
 • A raised front lip for the screen It is likely the safest option if youre on a budget...
