Which case for the OnePlus 13 actually survives drops? Im torn between the Spigen Tough Armor and the official Karbon case but that one looks way too thin.
I need it by Friday for a hiking trip and cant spend over 30 bucks. Is the Spigen too bulky or should I just risk the thinner one...
Saw this earlier but just getting back. Honestly ive been super satisfied with the OnePlus+13+Matte+Black&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ringke Onyx Case for OnePlus 13 Matte Black lately. It has a killer textured grip that works well for outdoorsy stuff so it wont slip out of your hand. Are you mostly worried about corner impacts on rocks or just general scratches? It usually runs under 15 bucks so its a steal.
Honestly, you might want to skip that official Karbon case if you are heading out on a hiking trip. It looks sleek, but it is basically just for scratches and wont do much for a real drop on a trail. Since you need to stay under 30 bucks, I would suggest looking at OnePlus+13+Dual+Layer+Kickstand&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Tough Armor for OnePlus 13 Dual Layer Kickstand. It is a bit bulky, but that extra layer is exactly what saves your device on rocky terrain. Make sure to double check shipping times so it actually arrives by Friday. If that one feels too chunky, you could consider the Spigen Rugged Armor Matte Black TPU. It is usually cheaper and slimmer, but be careful because it lacks that hard outer shell for serious impacts. I'd probably go with the Tough Armor just to be safe... hiking and thin cases usually dont mix well.
Saw this earlier but just now responding. If reliability is the priority for a trail environment, you should look for cases that provide 360-degree coverage rather than just a back shell. For under 30 bucks, these are consistent performers:
Did this last week, worked perfectly
Jumping in here... be careful with those super thin cases. They dont have the impact dispersion needed for a jagged rock hit, tbh. Before I suggest something specific, what kind of terrain are we talking about for this hike? Is it just dirt paths or are you actually scrambling?
