I just picked up the OnePlus Nord 4 and I’m loving the metal build! I want to keep it in top shape, so I’m looking for a solid case that isn't too bulky and a high-quality screen protector. Also, any recommendations for a fast car charger or specific earbuds that pair perfectly? What are your absolute essentials for this model?

Seconding the recommendation above. NGL the OnePlus+Nord+4+Sandstone+Bumper+Case&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Nord 4 Sandstone Bumper Case is iconic, but honestly, I had some issues with it. The texture is great, but it kinda lacks corner protection for accidental drops... actually, I found the OnePlus+Nord+4&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">TUDIA DualShield Grip Case for OnePlus Nord 4 much better for impact resistance. Also, for the screen, skip those cheap films. The OnePlus+Nord+4&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ibywind Screen Protector for OnePlus Nord 4 is way better cuz it includes a back skin and camera lens protector too, right?

Sooo, I went through this exact same search last month when I got mine. Honestly, I've tried many different setups over the years, and I've learned that you dont always need to drop a ton of cash to get solid protection. In my experience, I've had the best luck going with third-party brands that offer more value than the official stuff.

I ended up grabbing a few things that have been reallyyy great so far:

* OnePlus+Nord+4&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Ringke Fusion-X Case for OnePlus Nord 4 - It's super rugged but still shows off that metal back, which I love.
* OnePlus+Nord+4+3-Pack&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Supershieldz Tempered Glass Screen Protector for OnePlus Nord 4 3-Pack - Basically the best bang for your buck iirc.
* OnePlus+Nord+Buds+3+Pro&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro - They pair instantly and the ANC is actually decent for the price.
* UGREEN 69W USB C Car Charger - Since someone mentioned the official one, this is a cheaper alternative that still hits fast speeds.

Basically, I just wanted something that wouldnt break the bank but still feels premium. Anyway, hope that helps ur search. Good luck with the new phone!!

@Reply #6 - good point! Honestly, I'm kinda disappointed with the official gear this year. I've been around the block with OnePlus for a long time, but their recent official cases just feel a bit flimsy for the price... had some issues with them cracking way too easily. If you want to save some serious cash and still get good protection, I’d suggest skipping the branded stuff. I ended up getting a few cheaper alternatives that have actually lasted longer:

yo, congrats on the new phone! honestly, i've been using OnePlus devices since the original One, and that metal build on the OnePlus+Nord+4&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Nord 4 is seriously a breath of fresh air compared to all the glass sandwiches out there. tbh, I always tell people that protecting that finish is key because metal can actually dent or scratch easier than you'd think.

For your situation, here's what I recommend based on my years of trial and error. For cases, it's basically a toss-up between the official OnePlus+Nord+4+Sandstone+Bumper+Case&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Nord 4 Sandstone Bumper Case and something like the OnePlus+Nord+4&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">Spigen Liquid Air Case for OnePlus Nord 4. The Sandstone is iconic—insane grip and super slim, but it doesnt cover the top and bottom as well as the Spigen. The Spigen is lowkey better for actual drops cuz of the air cushion tech, though it adds a tiny bit more bulk.

Screen protectors? Just go with the OnePlus+Nord+4&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">IBYWINDScreen Protector for OnePlus Nord 4 set. It comes with an alignment tool which is literally a lifesaver if you hate bubbles... and I definitely do.

For the extra gear, you gotta stick with proprietary tech for the best speeds. I use the OnePlus+SuperVOOC+80W+Car+Charger&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus SuperVOOC 80W Car Charger and it's insane how fast it juices up while driving. Pair it with the OnePlus+Buds+3&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus Buds 3 and you're set—the integration is seamless and the noise cancelling is actually decent for the price. I tried using some generic buds before but the latency was annoying, so staying in the ecosystem is worth it imo. anyway, just my two cents! good luck with the new setup!

In my experience, you gotta prioritize safety first with that metal body because once it's dented, it's permanent.

1. Use a clear rugged case: I found one with reinforced corners that actually saved my phone during a nasty drop. It keeps the metal visible but adds a safety buffer.
2. Get a tempered glass protector: Seriously, it's cheaper than a screen repair.
3. Grab a high-wattage charger: My current setup hits full battery so fast, its basically a life-saver when I'm in a rush.

Safe travels with the new tech!
