I just pre-ordered the new OnePlus 13 and I am absolutely stoked to get it in my hands! However, with that massive circular camera island and the premium finish, I’m already getting a bit anxious about dropping it. This phone is a significant investment, so I want to make sure I have a solid case ready the moment it arrives.
I’ve been looking around, but I’m torn between keeping it slim to show off the design and going for something rugged. I’m particularly concerned about the screen curvature and whether certain cases offer enough of a lip to protect the display when it's face down. Not to disagree, but I've had a different experience with those super bulky cases. Honestly, after using OnePlus+phones+for+like+six&linkCode=osi&------123456890?5422-20" target="_blank" rel="nofollow sponsored">OnePlus phones for like six years, I've found that the really chunky ones like the Tough Armor actually trap a lot of heat during fast charging, which is sooo not ideal for battery health long-term. Plus, they totally kill the vibe of that new design!!
I'd actually suggest a different approach if you want real protection without the massive bulk.
