finally got my oneplus 12r and now i need some buds for my daily nyc commute but im stuck. i was thinking about the buds pro 2 since theyre on sale but then i saw some people saying the soundcore liberty 4nc are basically just as good for way less. my logic was that i should stay in the ecosystem for the lhdc support and faster pairing but i dont know if that actually makes a real world difference or if its just marketing talk. budget is around 150 max and i mostly need them for the subway and the gym. does the 12r have specific issues with non-oneplus brands or am i overthinking this?...

Youre definitely overthinking the ecosystem! Go with the Soundcore Liberty 4 NC Active Noise Cancelling for amazing value on your commute.

Ive spent way too much time testing bluetooth codecs and honestly the LHDC hype is mostly marketing unless you have lossless files. I switched to the Sony LinkBuds S Noise Canceling LDAC for my commute. The LDAC stability on the 12R is rock solid even in crowded NYC stations. Theyre super light for the gym and usually under 150. Way better fit than bulky stems imo...

Unfortunately finding a reliable pair is a headache.
- Just check the official site for compatibility.
- Search YouTube for 12R budget reviews. A video I saw yesterday explains everything better tho.
