Hey everyone! I just officially pulled the trigger and ordered the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G, and I’m super stoked for it to arrive. This is my first major upgrade in about three years, so I want to make sure I have everything ready to protect it the second it comes out of the box. Since the A-series is such a great value-for-money phone, I really don’t want to turn around and spend $50 or $60 on flagship-priced accessories. I'm definitely looking for that 'sweet spot' where quality meets affordability.

I’ve been burned in the past by buying the absolute cheapest options on Amazon, only to have the screen protector peel off after a week or the case turn a nasty shade of yellow within a month. I’m hoping to find something durable but budget-friendly. Specifically, I’m looking for a tempered glass screen protector that plays nice with the under-display fingerprint sensor. I’ve heard some thicker glass can make the biometric unlock really finicky, and I definitely want to avoid that frustration.

As for the case, I’m a bit of a klutz, so drop protection is a must. However, I also don't want a brick in my pocket! I’d love something with decent corner bumpers that still feels relatively slim. I’m also really curious if anyone has found a clear case that actually stays clear, as I picked the Awesome Iceblue color and really want to show it off without it looking dingy in a few weeks.

I’m trying to keep my total spend for both the case and a pack of protectors under $25-$30 if possible. I’ve seen brands like Spigen or Ringke mentioned before, but are there any lesser-known 'hidden gem' brands you guys swear by for the Galaxy A-series?

What are the best budget-friendly screen protectors and cases you’ve found for the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G that actually last?

sooo +1 to what was said earlier! ur sensor will literally fail if the glass is too thick... i've had issues where it wouldnt scan at all. basically, you gotta find 'ultra-thin' options: * JETech Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy A56 5G
* Ringke Fusion Clear Case for Samsung Galaxy A56 5G honestly, these are hidden gems that actually last. gl!

yo, honestly i'm all about safety first since screens are *so* pricey to fix. i'm really happy with the Caseology Skyfall Case for Samsung Galaxy A56 5G bc it has better corner bumpers than most clear ones. for the front, try Supershieldz Tempered Glass for Samsung Galaxy A56 5G. it's cheap but actually stays on and the sensor works well, no complaints here. gl! 👍

Cheaper cases yellow, so I use Spigen Liquid Crystal for Samsung Galaxy A56 5G. It stays clear!! Also, amFilm OneTouch Tempered Glass for Galaxy A56 5G beats thicker glass for fingerprint sensor flow. 👍

Quick question - do you prefer speed or thickness? - In my experience, thick protectors ruin biometrics.
- I’ve tried film alternatives that worked way better for the sensor... ngl
