Depends on what exactly you want to protect on Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus. Screen or also the back?

Using OtterBox Alpha Glass for a couple of months for Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus and can only recommend it. The material is premium and comfortable The performance eliminates bubbles effectively.

My clear recommendation for Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus: ESR HaloLock Tempered Glass. The thickness is sufficient even for heavy use The ergonomic design allows for comfortable handling.

Technical highlights: The latest generation offers significantly better quality. Very good compatibility with Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus features. Can be used without problems for various purposes. Even after extended use, no quality losses. Very good build quality, even at high usage.

It's funny how the thread turned into a debate on screen protectors haha, with everyone leaning towards the durability of glass options so far. But to answer your actual question about power banks for the S23 Plus, you really need to check for PPS (Programmable Power Supply) compatibility if you want to hit those 45W "Super Fast Charging 2.0" speeds. Here are the best bets based on current industry standards and what actually works: - Anker 737 Power Bank (PowerCore 24K): Probably the most powerful option out there. It supports PD 3.1 and PPS, so it’ll max out your charging speed no problem. Plus, the integrated screen shows you exactly what wattage you’re pulling in real-time.
- Samsung 45W 20,000mAh Battery Pack: This is the official high-capacity choice. It’s literally designed for the S23 series power profile, so there’s zero guesswork involved with compatibility.
- Baseus Adaman 65W 20,000mAh: A great budget-friendly pick that still supports the fast charging protocols we need. Tbh, it feels a bit more rugged than the others. Basically, if you want the fastest top-up, go for the Anker or the official Samsung 45W pack. Don't settle for a basic USB-A power bank or you'll be stuck charging at like 10W forever lol.

Ngl I am in the exact same spot right now with my S23 Plus. Its honestly so stressful trying to pick a power bank because I am terrified of using something cheap that will fry the battery or just stop working after a week. In my experience over the years, sticking to the big names is usually better but even then I am hesitant because safety is everything to me. I have been stuck between these two but just cannot decide yet:

  • Samsung 25W 10000mAh Battery Pack EB-P3400: Pro is that it is the safest bet since it is official and has all the built-in protections, but the con is 25W feels kinda slow when you are in a rush.
  • Anker 533 Power Bank 10000mAh 30W: Reliable brand and slightly faster speeds, tho I have heard it can get a bit warm during heavy use which makes me nervous. Still haven't pulled the trigger on either because I just dont want to mess up a $1000 phone... let me know if you find anything else that is actually trustworthy.

For Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus I would take Whitestone Dome Glass without hesitation. The durability is impressive The premium build provides excellent durability and protection.

Long-term experience: Using Whitestone Dome Glass for a few months and am thrilled. Have researched for a long time and this product was the best choice. The quality clearly exceeds my expectations. Very good price-performance ratio, can only recommend further.

@Reply #10 - good point! Honestly, I totally get the stress. I've been pretty disappointed with some of the big-name brands lately because they just haven't been as reliable as they used to be. Unfortunately, a high-end unit I bought recently was not as good as expected and basically became a paperweight after two months. It's so frustrating when you try to buy the premium stuff and it still fails... If you want something that actually works without the weird quality control issues I've run into, maybe look at these:

  • Samsung 25W 10,000 mAh Battery Pack EB-P3400
  • Baseus 65W 20000mAh Power Bank That Samsung one is only 25W, but it's official and I have never had a heat issue with it. The Baseus is surprisingly solid and actually handles the charging tech better than some of the more expensive gear I've owned. Ngl, it feels like a gamble sometimes but sticking to these has saved me some headaches. Just make sure the cable is decent too or it wont even matter!
